Aarons POV

I woke up with Aphmau in my arms, she was so warm yet shivering. I picked her up and gently laid her on the bed and pulled the covers to her chin. I noticed she drolled a bit on my shoulder and chuckled. 

"She needs her rest.." I whispered to myself.

I turned around and saw Laurance at our door knocking. I slightly opened the door not allowing to let him see the state Aphmau was in.

"Aaron where is Lady Aphmau, I haven't seen her and she usually is up early in these mornings"

Laurances POV

I knocked on the door patiently I was worried Aphmau was somewhere.. I saw Aaron approach the door just opening it a tiny bit I asked him where Aphmau was but he didn't answer. I grew angry and flung the door open only to see, Aphmau was injured on the bed, she looked horrible but somehow was smiling..? I was so confused and blurted out in rage.

"What happened what did you do!?" 

I was red in rage I never wanted anyone or anything to hurt Aphmau I promised to protect her and I failed. 

"She got attacked by wolves in the middle of dawn she wandered out don't blame me You're a gaurd!"

I heard Aaron shout at me, I felt bad for me blaming him I wanted to help had no words and just left. 

Aarons POV

After the situation I dealt with I looked back she was still asleep peaceful. ~She looks as exhausted get some rest Aph..~ I thought to myself, 

Aphmau POV 

I woke up feeling much better my wounds were healing with help by Aaron but my leg was still in pain. I sat up and saw Aaron wide awake. 

"Well Good morning Miss how was your rest..?" 

"Heh.. It felt really nice it's just my legs hurts too much.." 

I smiled at him feeling a little blush on my cheeks.

"Awww it's so cut when you're blushing so you feeling better?" 

"Yes very thank you"

I blushed redder, 

"You know you shouldnt have gone alone that night.. Now I will have to take care of you like a child" He smirked

I hugged him tight around his waist and he rubbed the top of my head. I was devopling feelings for Aaron I never knew he would be like this too me even though we are really good friedns I never knew he cared this much... I didn't let go I was too busy thinking.. I felt Aaron lay his lips on the top of my head and whisper something I will never forget..

"Why wouldn't I care for  and protect the person I love most"

I felt steaming tears fall from my eyes on to Aarons knees.. From joy after that moment I wanted so badly to tell him how I felt... Deeply for him.. I couldn't find the words my mind knew what to say but It couldn't come out.. Aaron stared into my eyes seeing me move the words with my lips.

"I know what you're saying : Aaron I care about you too I love you.. I never knew you could care so deeply about me and treat me in this manner. The words cannot escape my mouth but my mind knows the words please.. Aphmau say what you mean.. " 

Before he could finish I felt his lips press against mine I tensed up at this moment but lost all feel in my body and collapsed in his arms, his lips were pink as shells and so soft and welcoming. I felt myself heavy in his arms and my vision went blurry the world was spinning but I can feel Aaron holding me. I wasent recovered yet and was feeling rather unwell I closed my eyes and the world when dark me asleep in his arms...

Aaron POV

After I saw her mouth out the words as if she was trying to say them my mouth became one of its own and said something I was unaware of and I kissed her, her lips were as red as blood but tasted so good. They were so soft and her eyes were beautiful. After that moment she fell heavy in my arms and I saw her eyes staring at the celling, then i remembered she was still unhealed she closed her eyes and held her head in pain. She was asleep and I rubbed her cheek gently to calm her and allowed her sleep in my arms. I rocked her back and forth and sung a lullaby to her to ease the pain. She smiled and dreamed happily she will be better in the morning.

"Sweet dreams my love.." 

I kissed her forehead and watched her sleep in my arms...
