When Marian James won the 68th Annual Hunger Games, she lost her innocence. She had been reaped at the age of 15 as the female tribute from District Five and was forced into costumes, and speeches, and pain that left her changed from the person that she used to be. Marian had turned 16 in the arena and had killed four innocent souls, condemned by the Capitol. The nightmares that came from killing her peers plagued her mind and she changed. She became quieter, angrier, and less trusting. Her brother, Isaac, watched his sister slowly whither away no matter how much he tried to help her. The only thing that helped was Finnick. As the Quarter Quell loomed, how will she survive being pitted against the only person who makes her feel alive?
