"And how sure are you really? That you of all people, could solve cancer?" The interviewer of a small budget talk show asks. A 3 second awkward pause is strung up with every time he replies, as if he's taking time to process the question.
"I-I'm quite certain, a problem shouldn't be seen as a problem, rather yet a riddle waiting to be solved".
The interviewer chuckles in a response,
"Could you clarify?".
"What?" He confusingly says.
"Could you clarify, so we can better understand, you think cancer is a riddle?".
"Well all problems are. Some problems aren't ever solved. So when we're stuck, we think that its just another problem that can't be solved. However all riddles are an answer in itself, seeing them as such makes us think there's a solution, it makes us know there is, therefore easier to solve.".
The interviewer, and listeners itself were surely skeptical. Considering it wouldn't be the first time someone's boasted about solving cancer. Little to know that very interview would be watched by millions after he'd have solved the damn thing.
Secluded in a barn, his life's work of 19 years lays. From research to experiments, and several monitors tracking his progress. You could tell how unhealthy he was, and how little time he had to clean up considering how much of his time is invested in his passion. Empty coffee cups, crumbled papers, and several pills for his autism and ADHD. You'd think a mentally ridden person couldn't be such a genius, but it wouldn't stop him from revolutionizing medical history.
