A/N Never thought I'd update this, but here we are with writers' block again! So, I'm gonna try and write about Imagination (obviously)...wish me luck.

IMAGINATION

Imagine a fountain, a beautiful fountain filled with crystal clear water, yet tinged with a turquoise hue. It is situated in the middle of a garden, the centerpiece of perfection. Flowering plants of indescribable beauty surround the fountain, as it burbles and froths, shooting streams of water into the soft air. Times to stand still, in perfect balance between day and night. Birds sing in harmony with the crickets, creating the bright song and rhythm of nature so many pass by.

What is this beauty I have asked you to create?

That, my friend, is up to you.

Imagination is a wonderful thing. It takes you to places and times you can only dream of. It dances and shimmers within you're mind's eye, always willing to take you for a ride. It soars with the eagle, it swims with the whale. It travels with the angel, it dances with the dead. It offers you a world all your own, and no matter how well or perfectly you describe this world to another, they can never come in, because no two people are exactly alike. You may have opened up another world to them, and it may be similar to your own, but you will never meet someone whose world is the same as your own.

Imagination will take you anywhere, make you anyone. It is a magic few people ever discover to its full extent, and even fewer carry with them throughout the entirety of their lives. It is a gift to be treasured, nutured and grown. It's something that can accompany you through the highs and lows, the pain and the laughter. It is a hope to cherish, a light to shine through your darkness.

And yet, how bright that light is is up to you. You alone can decide how vibrant your daydreams are; you alone can choose how much effort and time you put into your realities. As a writer, the more vibrant your imagination, the better you can see the place you're visualizing, the better you can describe it in your stories and works. Whether or not the reader can see it is largely up to you.

Imagination takes your dreams and makes them soar

Makes your life worth living more

Gives you light and hope in the darkest times

A brillance you alone can allow to shine

God gave us such a gift to behold

A land of your own is worth more than gold

It can never be invaded, stolen, or defiled

Can never be swindled, corrupted, or beguiled

Nothing that happens is without your consent

The creativity within is never spent

So live a little; let it free

God made your imagination to let you live the life you never got to see

A/N:
