The history of taoism is very old, taoism was created and founded by the chinese philosopher called lao tsu, some say he was contemporary to confucius, lao tsu was not happy with the chaos, tyranny and with the political abuse, lao tsu wanted to leave to the mountains to become a hermit,but before he left one man ask him to write his teachings so he can share it to other people, lao tsu accepted, after three days lao tsu came back with a book, he named the book the tao te ching or daodejing which means the the way of power and wisdom.
