It was a Tuesday night like any other. Stephen was out working while Eve was at home. Eve's mother died 2 years ago. Today, it was Stephen's birthday. Eve bought a new phone for her dad. She was very happy that everything was going great in her life. Stephen was late, Eve already started making dinner, even though she was 15. When they were eating, she gave him the new phone. He was so happy with his gift. After they were finished, they watched some TV. The news was on. The news was talking about a small virus that wasn't a problem. The police had it "contained" they said. There were some clips of doomsday preppers going into their bunkers and closed their gates. Stephen wasn't worried. When it was 11 o'clock they both went to their rooms. Eve couldn't sleep because she was worried about the virus. When she finally fell asleep, Stephen called his brother Tom. He asked Tom if he heard about this virus. At the end of the phonecall, Stephen said:'Get here soon.' After that Stephen went to bed aswell. The next day Stephen made pancakes for breakfast. Eve always puts sugar on them. While they were eating there pancakes Stephen said: 'We're going hunting today!' Eve was new to hunting so Stephen thaught her new things that day. She learned how to use a bow and arrow. When they were done hunting Eve said: 'Why did we go hunting? You never take me with you. Is it because of that virus?' Stephen replied: 'No, I found that we don't do enough things together so I took you out to go hunting. Did you enjoy it?' 'Yes' said Eve shortly. At noon Tom arrived. Stephen and Tom went for a ride to the shopping mall. While they were gone, Eve started looking things up about this virus on the internet. Eve was kind of a computernerd. When she typed 'Atlanta Virus' she found 9 articles. The first one was of the news. All the articles were vage. Until she came to the 8th article. It was a site where preppers could talk about their prepperations, meet up, and what they would do. You could only write an article if you had an account. So Eve signed up for the site. It asked if she was 18+. She just filled in yes. Okay, now she had an account, now what? Make a post! She wrote a article with the title: 'Who can tell me something about this virus? I am a new prepper.' She immediatly got a response. The person who responded was called Kyona. It was a girl. Kyona said: 'The news said that they had the virus contained. We're not too sure about that. The last time we trusted the government, the spanish flu broke out. Maybe we should investegate more. We don't know much about this virus seen as though it's very new.' She started to chat with Kyona. They had alot in common. They were both too young for the website but somehow people believed that they were 18. Even though their behaviour was like any 15 year old kid. After chatting with Kyona for almost a week, Eve became inactive on the website because of school. At school nobody was worried of this virus. That made Eve more comfortable around her friends. She wasn't doing to good at school, receiving alot of F's. One of the only subjects she was good at, was mythology. In that subject they mainly had to write fantasy stories about a subject that the student liked. Eve's favoured subject to write about was the post apocalyptic world seen as though there would be alot of intresting stuff.
