It has been years since I've written the Haverston Stories. To be able to go back to them in 2021 for the editing was truly an experience. As I read through the original stories, I realized a lot of things. I realized how my taste changed, and how I grew as a writer. It was a big leap for me to rewrite these, especially for The Lady Who Stayed and The Lady Who Sinned. I just hope everyone enjoyed the new versions as much as I did rewriting them.
Now that the Haverston stories are in the state that I think I like (at the moment), it's time for the Everards. The first two stories, To Bewitch a Beast and One Wicked Season are now Paid stories and are edited. You can still read the other stories for free, of course. They are standalones, and will also be edited by me next year as I'm taking 2022 off of editing for other projects.
Thank you so much for loving the Haverstons and I hope to see you in any (if not all) stories of our wicked Everards!
Yours,
J.D. Ruiz
