DICK POV

I throw my empty coffee cup into the trash can next to Roy and I's patrol car.

"Any plans for tonight Grayson?" Roy asks.

"Well... I found this while we were at the building last night." I hand him the note.

Roy takes it. "Seek the largest one, find the center... The birth of anarchy..." Roy reads. "Well this guy certainly doesn't know how to rhyme."

I scoff at his comment.

"Any idea on where the largest symbol of anarchy might be?" Roy asks.

"I just moved into town... You expect me to know everything about this place already?" I ask sarcastically.

"Maybe..."

I scoff.

"All units please report to Hangman's alley. Suspect of bombing has been seen vandalizing the area."

Roy starts the engine of the patrol car and we drive off to Hangman's alley.

Few minutes later...

Roy and I exit the vehicle and walk towards the fresh graffiti, as usual it's the anarchy symbol.

I look over my shoulder and see central square. Something clicks in my head.

"Is it me or is this place standing real close to central square?" I whisper to Roy.

Roy looks back as well. "Think there's a pattern..." Sounds more like a statement than a question.

"I think there is..."

"You're girl's good with computers right..."

"I have the same idea..."

I pull out my phone and take a picture of the symbol, I send it to Barbara.

Me: A crap ton of these symbols are popping up in Blüdhaven, can you a check the database and see if the locations of these things form a pattern... Please

Babs: On it... Sending you the data later.

Me: Thanks

Seen. I slip my phone back into my pocket.

"Let's head out."

Night...

I open my laptop to check my email, I see two new messages from Babs. The first one being some info on Lonnie Machin, the second being a map of Blüdhaven... The locations of the graffiti are forming the anarchy symbol, basing on the look only one-forth of the symbol is done. Thankfully it's forming a straight line, no additional lines.

"Good thing your lazy when it comes to stuff like this..." I say to myself.

I walk to the window and open it. Climb into the fire escape, close the window and grapple to the roof of the building.

I climb up the ledge, Roy waits for me on the water tower. The rain pours down on our heads.

"Thought the weather report said there wasn't gonna be any rain today!" I start.

"Scared your gonna catch a cold and miss one night?" Roy asks sarcastically.

"No... I'm scared about lightning crashing down on your leather ass!"

Roy scoffs. "Anything from Gordon?"

"Yeah... I have a feeling this guy's gonna be in 33rd..." I pull out an image of the marked map Babs sent me.
