Before I begin this tale, no it won't be some typical cheesy stuff. I hope you like it. I'd love feed back if you have any so, don't be shy.
Prologue
I ran as fast my legs would go, ignoring the burning in my chest. I had to keep going. Stopping, even for a second, could mean my death. The trees passed by in a blur. Every part of my body was screaming in pain. I could see in the distance, a white house. Lights blared from the house. I let out a relieved grunt. I pushed on, my heaven was my motivation. I let out a small scream as I felt my foot hooked on a branch. I was slammed forward into the ground. My hands didn't help the fall much. My ankle was definitely messed up. The throbbing gave it away. I turned to check it. My long black hair falling all around me. I looked at my foot. It was swollen already. I stopped cold when I heard the chuckle. That god awful sound. I could see the shadowed figure make his way to me. The white hoodie was like a beacon in the night. He stepped into the light and the fear stuck through me like the knife he held. Everything about him terrified me. His black hair hung down just below his shoulders. His dark eyes bore into mine. The paleness of his face was just unnatural. But his mouth was the worst. A smile. Ear to ear. He moved towards me. I crawled backwards as fast as I could. He was quickly coming closer to me. I turned to my hands and knees and got up as best as I could. I limped towards the house.
"Help!" My voice was strained. I let a scream when I felt his cold figures wrap around my wrist. I was turned. He towered over me, holding me to him. The scent he gave off was surprising. Honey, a smell I loved. I couldn't find my voice to scream. He put a long, slender finger to my agape mouth, closing it. I stared in awe at him. I watched as his mouth opened. He raised a long arm, his knife ready to strike. He spoke a phase that shook me to my core.
"Go to sleep!" As he menacingly uttered the words I let out a scream. As his knife came towards me it stopped right above my heart. I heard a loud buzzing.
I shot up out of my bed. I wasn't in the woods anymore. I slammed my hand down on my alarm clock. I was drenched in a cold sweat. This made three weeks straight that I've had the dream. It was always the same. Me falling the strange boy trying to kill me. I didn't know who he was, but he was constantly in my dreams. Always telling me the same thing. "Go to sleep".
