Chapter Three

It Was You

Jeff still sat there, hanging his head. Why would I have dreamt of him? I didn't even know him.

"Jeff, what are you?" I asked. He huffed and still glanced at the ground as he spoke.

"I'm unusual. I'm different. I'm not exactly human." He said. I grabbed his face, forcing him to look at me. The pads of my fingers could feel the roughness of the scars on his face.

"If you haven't noticed I'm not normal either." I said looking straight into his eyes.

"Lucifer." He spoke my name softly.

"Yeah."

"The dream you've been having. I've had the same one to. It's why I'm here now. I had to find the girl I had been dreaming of for so long. At first I thought it meant something." His tone sounded of shame.

"What did you think it meant?"He looked at me with the saddest face. My eyes grew wide when I saw him reach into his hoodie pocket and pulled out a knife. The same one from my dreams. I watched frozen in horror as his face changed the scars on his face split opened and his eyes became deeply set. I couldn't move or speak as he crawled towards me. I let out a small gasp when his cold hand grabbed my neck. The cold steel of the blade touched my face. I looked straight into the eyes of the monster I saw so many times before. I let my eyes close as he raised the knife, ready to strike. There was no use in screaming. It was just me in the house. I waited what seemed like an eternity for the pain. I slowly opened my eyes. Scars replaced the agape smile. The eyes were back to normal. I watched as his arm fell to his side an heard the metal drop to the floor. He let go of my throat. My breath was shaky. I still couldn't move. I looked a the boy next to me. His head fell in his hands.

"I can't do it." He whispered. I shakily reached out to touch him. He jumped up and in a matter of seconds he had gone out my window without a word.

Jeff"s point of view

I hurried down the street. I needed to find someone to let this out on before I turned back and slaughtered the broken girl I had seen every night in my head. I could feel my scars opening up again as the urge was taking over. My need to kill, turning me into a monster. I settled on a shabby looking house, deciding it was far enough away from her. I went around the back if the small brick home. Opening a window I silently made my way in. I reached in my pocket for the blade only to find empty fabric. I remembered dropping it on Lucifer's room. I looked around the kitchen I was in. Locating the knife block, I grabbed the biggest one and made my way further into the house. I walked down a long hallway and ended up at a open door and saw a sleeping man in his bed. I slipped and got ready for what I needed to do.

I know it's short but, I'm pretty sleep deprived at the moment and needed a chapter up. Well either way I hope you liked it.
