The boy next door

Chapter 1

Kendall's POV
I woke up to my alarm screaming a green day song at me, I turned and groaned as I looked at the time..it was 6:30am on a Monday morning. I threw my head back in dismay as I hit snooze for the first time that morning and I knew it wouldn't be the last time.

I must've fallen asleep after I hit snooze as I was once again woken to the sound of my mom yelling at me to get up for school "I'm getting up just give me a minute!" I yelled down to my mom as she angrily shouted at me. I rubbed my eyes as I sat up in my bed and I checked the time again, this time it was 7:00am shit I thought to myself because I only had half an hour to get ready and be out the door for school. I brushed and straightened my light purple hair that reached past my shoulders, then I chose my outfit for the day which was my black ripped skinny jeans, a green day shirt, black vans and an asking alexandria hoodie and finally I did my makeup and left for school.

As I was waiting on the bus to school a really good looking boy with a lot of tattoos and piercings who I'd never seen before joined me and gave me a cute grin, he looked like simba from the lion king a little "Hi I'm Ashton" he said in a really strong Australian accent "Hey I'm Kendall" I replied "it's very nice to meet you" Ashton said with that cute grin of his "it's nice to meet you too" I replied smiling a little. Our bus pulled up next to us "you can sit with me if you want" I said to Ashton, "sure thanks Kendall" he replied.

At the next stop my 3 best friends Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood got on the bus and sat behind us, Ashton introduced himself and Mikey said "hey Ashton I'm Mikey, and this is Luke and Calum" Luke and Calum both took it in turns to say hey and gave Ashton fist bumps, I was just glad they all seemed to be getting along nicely and I just smiled to myself as the warmth of happiness spread over me.
