"Good morning, how are you" I said to Leon quietly with a forced smile on to my face. Even though I didn't feel like saying anything but I didn't want Leon to become suspicious.
"Hey Jarred, I am good thanks, how are you" Leon replied to me with a kind smile, which I forcefully return.

We all hurry on to the bus "what is firs lesson" I ask as I sit down carefully not to rub my back against the chair.
And I quickly look out of the window at the houses passing by when Leon replies "Gym"
"OK. Will you go to my locker with me when we get there? I need to grab my gym stuff" I ask casually
"Yeah of course buddy" Leon says and pats me on the back, it felt as if he'd stabbed a knife into my back and dragged it down afterwards, I grit my teeth to force myself not to cringe with pain, so Leon wouldn't figure out I am hurt.

"What's wrong with your back? Did he hurt you again? He did didn't he. I am gonna tell someone about this. It can't keep going on; I an not gonna keep lying for you. I am going to tell the police?" Leon says with a mix of care worry and anger.

"No Leon please, him and Josh are the only family I have left" I say pleadingly.

Leon glares at me
"Fine but once more and this time I mean once more and I WILL go to the police" he says annoyance clipping his voice.

We scurried of the bus and quickly to the lockers before heading to the changing rooms.

I went into the small cubicle relieved no one was using it and quickly start to pull of my dark black shirt; I hissed as the pain shot across my back and down my spine.
"Are you okay in there," Leon asks in concern.
"Yeah fine" my voice came out in a small wavering gasp.

I bite my bottom lip preparing myself for the spinging pain to come, I pull my shirt of fast and I bite my bottom lip hard to stop myself from screaming as I feel some of the newly closed parts get ripped off from removing my shirt.

I quickly shove my rugby shirt on and I put on my joggers, trainers, I pack everything I had just taken off into my gym bag, then I quickly hurry out of the cubicle to wait for Leon to tie up his laces.

Today class your going to jog around the college 20 times when your done we will meet back hear; you all have one hour. I started at a slow pace as soon as the whistle blew, then I slowly became faster part way through the first lap. But straight after the third lap around I take a break because of the sweat getting into my wounds causes them to burn. I sat my self in the shade and take a long drink from my water bottle.

"Are you OK, your shaking like a leaf" Leon says looking down at my left hand; I quickly cover it with my right, then uncovered it again to grab my my bottle and start to retreat, but Leon saw it coming and grabbed my left wrist and slid his hand into mine, he held tightly onto my hand and examined the bruises on my wrist caused from me biting it "I need to help you Jarred" Leon said to me sadly shaking his head.

"I don't...I don't" I was at a loss for words, so I pulled my hand from Leon's and started running laps around the college again, I knew I did two more laps again until the gashes on my back and this time the one on my chest aswel began to burn even more than what they did from the start.

I kept going though for another two laps then stopped at the section with the benches, I bent down to pick up my bottle, my knees wobbled underneath me causing me to lose balance.

A pair of strong arms caught me around my shoulders before I could fall: I managed to get my bearings and steady myself enough to go sit on the bench, I quickly empty my bottle.
"You need to go take a shower" Leon said looking down at me
" Yeah I will go in a minute" I waited until I had drunk my last mouthful of water before saying "OK lets go" I stood up and headed towards the direction of the shower rooms.
