The Power Of Us

Chapter 3

I walk over to my room and pull out a black tank top with high wasted ripped black skinny jeans and my only pair of shoes. My hair is in a high pony tail. "A! Come on!" Ben yells from the kitchen "Coming!" I yell back walking out of my room. "Man your slow today." he says as we walk out the door.

"Where are we going?" I ask as we start to jog down the street "We are going to go get the others."He says starting to run faster then me. He always thinks he can beat me in a race but he really can't. "Come on lets see who can get there first!" He yells over her shoulder.

When we finally get to Dani's house we are both panting like crazy and we are bent over our knees catching our breathes. "Why do you even try?" I ask standing straight up "Shut up." He says as we walk to the back of her house where her window is. "Ben, she is asleep and so are the others." I say as I walk over to the side of the house and look at Alexs and Pennys houses. "That's why we are going to wake them up." He whispers over his shoulder as he walks over to the rock garden and grabbing some pebbles. "Here" I catch the pebbles and start throwing them at Danis window, then Ben jois in and throws his. After what feels like forever she finally popped her head out her window.

"What are you two doing!" She whisper yells rubbing her eyes. "Come on. Get some good clothes on and meet us at Pennys." I say back as Ben and I walk away. She just puts her thumb up and rolls her eyes. When we walk up to Alexs house she is sitting on the front porch. "Heard you guys." She shrugs "Penny will be out in a couple minutes." Ben and I both know why she is out on the front porch and it's not because she heard us. It's probably her parents were fighting and she just wanted to get away.

"Okay. Thanks Alex" Ben says back patting her on the back. "Why did you guys wake us up?" Dani practically yells as she walks up to us. "We're going on an adventure!" Ben yells. The people who are sleeping either don't hear us or have just chosen to ignore us. "Come on guys!" Penny yells from down the street "Lets go!"

After a couple of hours of walking through the woods, we finally come to a stop. Did I mention in the middle of nowhere! Great plan Ben we are now lost. The sun is rising so I think it must be close to five. "This has been a damn good time, but where the hell are we?" I yell while looking up at Ben. I hadn't noticed that we were standing on a cliff that was about twenty feet above the water.

"Well you see" Ben says walking closer to me "We just thought" Alex continued for him, now Ben was standing right in front of me and I have to strain my neck to look at him. "That you would" Dani says, now I'm getting freaked out. "Like a little swim!" Penny yells "What?" I yell back, then Ben pushes me off the cliff.
