Winter...

This again, how great. Once again, I walk out of the bathroom to find my clothes are not there.
"You should come up with a better prank, Marc!" I yelled to my 10 year old brother. I heard a boom of laughter from my vanity.
"Look I know your in there Marc, just give it up!" I yelled again.
"Winter Elizabeth Jackson! Do I need to take your phone?!" my mother exclaimed at me from the door.
"But, Mom! Marc took my clothes!" thanks for the support, mom.
You could say I'm a mean person, but I don't believe I am. I'm just so sarcastic, people take it too far.
I hopped out of the shower and wrapped my towel around myself. I looked back at my copper brown hair, knowing it's gonna be all tangly. I was one of the Jackson kids to get curly hair. The rest of my brothers have no hair, or straight, non-curly hair.
I looked back at my eyes. The brown in my eyes were slowly being overtaken by the green in the last couple of years. I used to have bright brown eyes, but it quickly turned green as my hair turned from blonde to brown.
I used to be happy all the time, until I turned sarcastic and I started bleeding through my privates.
Marc gave my back my clothes after being scolded by mom and punished with a grounding for a week.
I changed into my blue skater skirt and a white basic t-shirt with a breast pocket. I tucked the white t-shirt into my skirt and put on my baby blue vans. I opened my room door just to be attacked by my 5-year old brother, Hans, influenced by my 12- year old brother, Ben. They tackled me to the ground making my head hit the wood floor.
"Can you two be anymore reckless!" I directed to Ben, because I'm pretty sure hans had no idea what he was doing.
"sorry Win," he laughed. I'm almost certain he wasn't sorry. I sighed an exasperated sigh. I walked down the stairs to the kitchen, I leaned over the granite island to kiss my mother on the cheek.
"hey mom, you know how I was thinking about which college I should go to?" I asked, hoping she would let me go to University of Central Florida so I can get the career I want. Being that California is an extremely long way from Florida, I doubted she would let me even look.
"Yes," she coughed, then continued. "but I don't think it's such a good idea," my shoulders dropped after hearing what she had to say.
"But mom! why?" I whined.
"because I said so winter!" she's slowly getting angry I could tell. She stormed down the hallway to the stairs.
"mom can we talk about this?" I called after her.
"there's nothing to talk about ladybug!" she calmly stated while turning to me.
"mom I swear I will try my best!" I pleaded
"honey I know you will but you have to understand that I care about your safety," she looked at me with worried eyes.
"mom you have nothing to worry about I'll be fine! Can we at least contact dad about this!" she stiffened at the mention of my dad. Why?
"your father will take no part in this decision. Now please go back to your room" My eyebrows creased, as I turned to go to my room.
As I entered my room a bucket of murky river water fell all over me. What a fine day this is.
I picked up the bucket from the top of my doorway and threw it in Marc's room. I walked into my room and took my second shower.
I walked into my room and looked at my computer, an idea blossoming in my head. What if I showed mom how great this school is, I mean they already want me!
I got in my computer and opened up the PowerPoint tab. I then got on Firefox, (because Firefox beats internet explorer any day) and got images of the school. I came across the fact that you could room with guys, but skipped over that fact. I'm sure mom would overlook that.

"Mom!" I called my mom from downstairs.
"yes honey!" she called back. I found the strength in me to yell back
"come here please!" I yelled.
"coming ladybug!" I flinched at the name but put a smile on my face.
I was getting the presentation ready when she walked in.
"what would you like?" she questioned.
"I have something for you" being the animate person I am, I turned off the lights and let her sit before starting.
"As you could know, my dream college is located in Miami, a very warm place, so rarely winter storms! It's located in a nice neighborhood where they hold parades biannually. The college offers many opportunities for the people with less money than others," I paused for a breather, "including free food by sign up, and free necessities such as a washer machine, and dryer." I clicked through the presentation, and was pleased when I saw the surprised but happy expression on my moms face.
"okay honey, you've convinced me." she finally announced.I jumped up and down and squealed.

I'm going to my dream school!
