Down The Rabbit Hole

When Alice fell down the rabbit hole,

Oh, the things she saw below!

Prim, Prudish flowers, Proper to their last leaf.

A wicked, striped cat, his mouth full of sharp teeth.

She saw crooked and twisted creatures galore.

She saw many queer things that the sane would abhor.

She met the strange man whose hat could not hide,

The scratching, clawing, madness inside.

The unrest of ages, the corrosion of time,

All played a cruel part, the disease of his mind.

All hail the red queen, in her bloodstained palace.

Serve her the last hope, she'll drink it from her chalice.

Carry silver platters, atop them, valiant hearts

Her favorite ingredient, bakes them into her tarts.

The sharpest of swords, the strongest of wills

The strength it takes to complete a kill.

The deed is done with one strong cleave

The battle is won, and Alice leaves.

...................................

When Alice fell down the rabbit hole,

She never saw what waited below

She broke her neck and bled to death

Half mad and laughing to her last breath.

Moments before she faded away,

A lone white rabbit came to say,

"My, my, look who's wandered in.

We've been waiting, welcome to Wonderland."
