After I was exiled, I set out for a long journey to find someone, anyone who would listen and accept my beliefs. I had heard that Rhode Island was founded and there were people there who had either the same or similar beliefs as I. The journey was very long, I met some interesting people in my travels, but all had the same beliefs as the colony had, so I eventually gave up and just moved on to find Rhode Island.

Once I arrived, I found the hansom man, his looks caught my attention as soon as I laid my deep blue eyes on him. From his hair, to his eyes, to his ,mustache I just stood in awe. This man, this founder, has the same beliefs as I, he is quite handsome and he is walking to me. What should I say to a man of such intelligence, wealth, and beauty? "Hello, welcome to Rhode Island! I am Roger Williams, and what is your name?" He asked. His big green eyes staring into mine, I panicked for a second, then finally came to. Roger Williams, such a fine name for such a man like himself. "My name is Anne Hutchinson." I replied. We later had dinner and went to our homes for a good night's rest.

The next day I set out to find some food to cook for Roger and I. I search in the woods by our little colony. The day was hot and humid, much like our old colony. As i walked through the woods I begin to wonder if I am the only one there anymore. I search around only to find some of the other women from the colony doing the same as I. Maybe it's just nerves I tell myself. I have been so frightened as to who I would be seeing and what their beliefs were I almost forgot why I came here in the first place.

When I return, I find the colony with mounds of food and animal skin, and a few of the colonists building a little fire in the middle of the colony. This, this is the reason I came here! To surround myself with people who believe what I believe and to have a true family once again. My mother always told me "Family is everything! Protect what's yours and never let go." She was right, I had a family, they may not have been my blood family but they were still family either way. Although, at times I often wonder what it would be like to have a family of my very own, a blood family...

Roger sat next to me while we ate. He went on and on about how he had been exiled from an old colony, the more he described his old colony, the more I began to realize we had both been exiled from the same colony for the same reason. After dinner I told him about how I too had been exiled from the colony and why. That only brought us closer. We talked all evening until I got too tired and went to bed.

After a few weeks, our connection began to grow more and more the more we talked and spent time together. Roger asked me if I would like to take a walk with him down to the lake so we could just talk and spend time with each other. Of course I agreed and we went. While we were down there, the setting was perfect, the big bright moon was out, the stars shining ever so brightly, the crickets chirping and the waves ever so gently hitting the smooth shore of the lake. I decided I wasn't going to wait any longer to tell him my feelings, because I knew there were a few other women who had feelings for Roger. "I don't know why, but I feel strongly for you, these past few weeks have been the best I have ever experienced." I told him. He then immediately leaned in and gave me a slow passionate kiss like this would be his last.

I didn't know how to react but I did know I wasn't going to stop him. He took me to his house and proposed. "You don't know how long I have been waiting for you to say that. I have watched you grow up, I have watched you become the beautiful woman you are now. I didn't know if you had felt the same way about me so I have just been putting off telling you how I felt. But Anne Hutchinson, Will you be my wife?"

I began to cry. Nobody but my mom has told me anything that sweet before. I didn't know what to say so I simply said, "Yes Roger Williams, I will be your wife!". He then got up, hugged me so gently and whispered so softly "I love you, You are my Princess now."

The wedding was held in the chapel, I had the best dress money could buy. A huge flowy ball gown with little red roses embroidered in the heart shaped neckline with a six foot veil to top the look off. Although my father couldn't walk me down the aisle, I had my brother walk me down. After we said our vows and kissed, we went back to my house. We had the "typical after wedding/ honeymoon night". My friends and his friends came over the next day to bombard us with wedding gifts, such as clothes, jewelry, food, and a little bit of money.

Weeks have passed and I began to feel ill. Roger insisted I go to doctor Samuel to get a checkup, I desperately didn't want to go to the doctor. I hated the doctor's office. After my check up, doctor Samuel comes into the room and says, "Mrs. Anne, i have some great news today! You're pregnant!". How can this be? I am only 23, and now I am A soon to be mother??? I quickly rush home to tell Roger. He breaks down and begins to cry tears of joy. "I will be the best and only the best father to this child Anne". Great. Now I am crying.

It has been two months now and I am showing. I am continuously sick (at least Roger holds my hair back for me), always hungry, and I can't seem to control my emotions. I am not the only woman pregnant in this colony though, Cathine is as well. I spent a great deal of time with her so I can understand all of this. She is pregnant with her second child and she is seven months in.

I have to go back to doctor Samuel because there are sharp pains in my abdomen and they come and go every two minutes or so. The doctor says I am having contractions and I am in labor. The nurse goes to get Roger and he comes within five minutes. Once he sees what's going on, he faints. I'm not surprised. If I saw what was going on, I too might have fainted. Although I was feeling what was going on and it hurts so bad. The doctors are telling me to keep pushing but that's all i have been doing for five hours now. I hear one of the doctors whisper "She's losing too much blood, she's not going to make it." I begin to feel light headed and motion Roger to come over, he kisses me on the forehead and tells me everything is going to be alright. I hear crying and look up to see a beautiful baby girl. "Let's name her Judy" I told Roger. "Ok Anne, and I will take great care of her, I love you my princess, never forget that." Once he finished what he said, I passed out. "She flat lined". Said the Doctor.
