Fire.

Brimstone.

Ominous clouds circling above a wretched land.

All things most would associate with Hell. All things Jasmine herself would have associated with Hell, yet her surroundings proved otherwise. Hell seemed abnormally normal, to be frank.

She was standing in the center of a plaza, thousands upon millions of demons treading and trudging through the gray paved walkways. Colossal red schemed towers loomed overhead. A foul, fuel burning aroma wafted through the air, causing her nose to wrinkle in utter disgust. Demons with formal attire, demons with non formal attire, demons wearing crocs, and demons wearing nothing but the skin on their backs paraded along. Each demon also seemed to have an intricate horn design, most of them reminding her of the stereotypical demon horns described in fairytales. Most demons trumped her in height, certain species being over twelve feet tall. Some appeared to be talking into multicolored boxes with glowing screens. Each box in a demon's hand teased their attention, most putting them away for a moment, only to take them out again for some obscure reason. Others were simply walking, a happy, joyful expression being blanketed by eyes of dull color and bloke interests. The sound of footsteps, and traffic from nearby vehicles made it hard to concentrate on the small details, which is most likely why no one seemed to care.

The variety of atrocious unfamiliar concepts entranced Jasmine, and she caught herself staring around at the different species in awe. This certainly was not the quiet, human village she was accustomed to. Upon glancing towards the sky, she noticed the plethora of giant gleaming skyscrapers leaning over her. There was one particular building that stood out, the tallest and by far most menacing of the group. The towers walls were matte black, one side of the building being entirely coated in large upscale glass panes. From the ground, the building could be mistaken as a dragon. It's horrid black scales reflecting upon everything beneath it. When looking up at the monstrous tower, it appeared to be standing proudly over you, prepared to strike if you shot it a sour glance.

Jasmine was utterly confused.

Her decision to tune out the possibly helpful voice earlier may not have been a good one. It wasn't like her to admit her faults, yet in the strangest way, it made her feel better. She stepped forwards, slowly circling around the spot she appeared in, glaring around at the various people with her eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

No one in the area had seemed to take notice of her presence, everything was business as usual! Did fresh faces just randomly pop into this sorrowful centre everyday? Was this normal?

Jasmine had decided that speaking to any one of these imbeciles would be pointless. How could they help her anyways?

After a moment of thinking, she decided her best option was to seek shelter. The witch wasn't exactly used to this surrounding, and she knew that adjusting would take time, valuable time. Valuable time that she wasn't quite sure she had.

She began to silently wander around the city, occasionally being glanced at by prying eyes. In any normal circumstance a Lust would use their seductive mind powers to entrance their victims, ultimately forcing them to do their bidding. Jasmine however, was a different case.

Jasmine wasn't sure how to "seduce" people. She had been quite the sweet talker when she was alive, but she assumed persuasion would be of a different sort here. Of course she would never do anything risque, she was faithful to her husband.

But she knew it could, or would, help her in the future.

A tall, muscular demon with bulging horns striking out from behind his ears bumped his shoulder into Jasmine as she walked. She was too caught up in her thoughts, and the impact caused her to spin on her heel. She was literally fuming, terribly upset by such a simple accidental gesture. The ground beneath her was burning, leaving scorch marks where her feet were. How dare a lowly demon touch her?
