I convinced my parents to let me have a few more days of a normal life to let me go to school for just one more week then go in for Chemo. I thought it would be a normal week until I noticed Jake wasn't at school today. And you might think it's normal to miss a couple of days of school but with Jake he would never miss a day even if he was sick he would come to school which probably wasn't the most sanitary thing but he did it anyway. He missed three of his family road trips last year just so he could have a perfect attendance. In fact I've never since him miss a day of school until now.
