This is just a short story. I'm thinking about making another part or book to go with this on to tell about their adventures as sisters.

It was first grade when we met. Her name is Liz. Liz was the new girl at school. She came in the classroom about an hour before school was over. It was the middle of the school year. When she walked in I thought she could use a friend, so after school I ran over to her and introduced myself. I said "Hi my name is Avery. What is your name?" She said "Hello Avery, my name is Liz." I asked Liz if she wanted to be my friend. When she said yes I was happy. I asked her if she wanted to come over, and she said yes. Later that day Liz came over. Our parents sat in the living room talking and drinking wine the whole time. Liz and I went to my room and played. We played hide-n-go-seek, school, board games and spies. It was fun. We spied on our parents for what felt like an hour. Then we were bored so we went outside. In my back yard I had a trampoline and a swing set. We got on the trampoline and did a couple of flips. We decided to have a compition to see who could do the most flips without a break. Liz went first and did 20flips. I was amazed. Then I went. I also did 20 flips. I surprise myself. Liz ad I were tied, so we did a round 2. Liz did 15 flips this time, so did I. We did a round 3 our last and final round because we tied again. Liz did 5 flips, I did the same. We were still tied so we needed a tie breaker. We got off the trampoline and decided to have a race to break the tie, but before we had the tie breaking race we wend inside and drank a bottle of water. I ran to my room an grabbed my alarm and a long piece of paper. I quickly wrote "Finish Line" on it with a black marker. I ran outside with the paper, tape and my alarm. When I got outside Liz helped me tape up the finish line. I set my alarm. When the alarm went off we started running. It was a close race then it changed, because we tied again. Now we were getting weirded out. We quit for the night because we were getting weirded our and it was dark. When we got in we checked the time. It was 11:30P.M. Liz's parent left her a note that said " Dear Liz, We went home around 9. Come home before it gets to late and be careful. From your loving and caring parents, Jenna❤ and Dillion❤ love you sweetie❤" Liz read the note once she was done reading it she had a worried expression. I read the note an quickly understood. I told her it was fine she could spend the night. The next day my mom text her parents letting them know. They said it was ok. Liz spent the whole day at my house. We played truth or dare and questions to learn about each other. When we got bored we went outside and raced again. We were still trying to break the tie. We tried again and again. We were still tied so we gave up. Liz and I started hanging out every day and having a sleepover almost 3 times every week. The days went fast and the years did to. As we got older we started wondering more and more about our family. By the time we were in 6th grade both of our parents ,my mom and her dad, had gotten divorced and remarried. We wondered who they were married to before. She asked her dad who he was married to before he got divorced. He said he would tell her when she was a little older. She said ok and we walked out of the room. Next we went over to my house and I asked my mom the same question. She told me Liz's dad was my dad. My mouth dropped open, then I spoke. So does that mean Liz and I are...? She stopped me before I could finish. She said yes. That means you and Liz ad sisters. I smiled.
