Chapter Two

"Evi1AQ to him. "Oh soda its alright she's just having fun" I roll my eyes "its not called fun its called being honest" soda pulls me a side "Evie Bella Curtis you need to stop and behave." I look to sandy and say

"Soda can and will do so much better than you! I bet your not even a real blonde! Sandy's a whore name which I bet your are! Nobody wants you here and I for sure would love to kick you out of my home I bet your only with soda til you find a newer version and I for sure will never like you!"

I then run upstairs to my room slamming the door slut locking it.
Nobody comes up stairs so I assume they just left without checking or grounding me. I wait an hour before I sneak out my window to go to the park because there is no way in here I'm staying in a house with Sandy.

"Jake let's get out of here"

I said as I reach the swings where he was waiting for me.

"Alright where you wanna go?"

He asks I shrug "I thought you were supposed to plan it out" he blushes "oh yeah well the thing is well um......I forgot"

I face palm myself. "Of course you forgot!" He smiles "but its better that way! Let's be spontaneous!" I chuckle but agreed.
We went tZo the lake then the drive ins.

"This movie sucks"

I say leaning back in my seat. "Wanna get out of here?" Jake asked I nodded. "You cold?" "Uh no I'm good" I say he stops takes off his jacket and puts it around me I smiled "thanks"
He put his hands in his pockets. "You hungry?" He asks I shrug "Kinda" he smiled "wanna go to the dingo?"

"Bye beautiful"

Jason says as we reach the gate in front of my house. I blush "Don't say things you don't mean"
He holds my face in his hands gently looking me in the eye. "I mean it with all of my heart"

"Jason I love you but were only 12, can we even say we know what love is about?"

He leans in and kisses my cheek. "Let's take a walk and discuss the meaning of love.....my love" I laugh a little "when did you become so sophisticated?"
He grins

"since I've met you"

"So what even counts as love?"

I ask as we begin walking away from my house. "Well I guess it would be when you just enjoy being with that person just seeing them makes you happy." Jason said looking at the starry sky. "Well that's a part of it but there gotta be more to it than just that." I say kicking a rock.

"Sacrifice"

I suddenly say Jason looks at me waiting for me to continue. "Love is also about sacrifice,they're willing to give up their own happiness just so the other one can just be happy. Even if it means giving them up"
