Second Chances

Chapter 11

"Finally!" I said happily, stretching my arms in our locker room. Finally, indeed. Because today is over and we just won against two kings! Which means we're making our way to the Championship League. And which means that we're going home now!

"Ne, let's go home!" I cheered once again, when I saw coach Riko entering the locker room. But I sweat-drop when someone raised their hands creepily and shakily, just like an old person.

"No, wait..sorry..seriously, wait.." I watched Junpei-senpai and the others literally look like an old person, you know, the one I was talking about seconds ago. "We just played two games against kings."

I giggled apologetically while rubbing the back of my head. "Ehehe~Sorry." 

"We'll be fine after we rest for a few minutes, but Kagami.." We diverted our gaze to the redheaded idiot in the corner, shaking and trembling. Shoot, this one looks like a zombie now. "He pushed himself too hard."

"I can't even stand, let alone move." Kagami added. 

I pouted, while Riko-senpai puts her hands on her hips. "But we can't stay here forever." She said, sighing. "Let's go into the closest restaurant."

"But how about Kagami-kun?" I asked. 

"Oh yeah. Someone has to carry Kagami-kun." Coach agreed. 

"Let's decided with rock, paper, scissors, then." Junpei-senpai said and I sweat-dropped again when the five of them-Kuroko, Izuki-senpai, Mitobe-senpai, Koganei-senpai and the captain played the game with the trembling Kagami on the sidelines. 

"Rock, paper, scissors.."

"Ehh.."

And so we arrived at a restaurant named Okonomi Yaki while it's literally raining. 

"Excuse me!" Riko-senpai said when she opened the door to the restaurant. 

"Welcome!" The uh, is that the owner or what, "There's so many of you!"

"Kagami-kun, you look..uh..nice?" I sweat-dropped when I saw Kagami's face full of dirt and mud, gosh, how many sweat-dropped I had this chapter? 

"Kuroko, you'll pay for this." Kagami glared at the boy beside him, and boy, Kagami is still shaking like a chihuahua. 

"Sorry, you're too heavy." Kuroko said, without even looking at him.

"Kise and Kasamatsu!" Kagami suddenly exclaimed, and I suddenly saw Kise and Kasamatsu on one of the tables in the restaurant. 

"No honorifics?!" Kasamatsu asked irritatingly. 

"Hey!" Kise greeted us. 

Ehhh...why on earth are we sitting here?

And then suddenly Kuroko, Kagami and I are sitting down in their table since it's for six chairs but where the heck is the other chair?! Soooooo it just turns out that I'm in between of Kise and Kuroko and then there's Kasamatsu-san and Kagami.

"Why are we sitting together?" Kise asked beside me. That's what I would like to know too, Kise-kun. "And Kagami-cchi, why were you covered in mud?" 

"I fell. Forget about it." He answered. "And don't call me Kagami-cchi." 

"If we don't eat, they'll burn." Kasamatsu-san said in the sideline again.

"Oh, right." Kise agreed. 

"Excuse me!" Someone that just entered greeted. "Sir..do you have two.."

"Ehhhh?" I mumbled, as well as the others when we saw Takao entering the restaurant along with...Midorima?!
