"I'm sorry." I said to him as I walked away.

"I love you Samantha," He said, it was almost a whisper.

I almost wanted to say "I love you too." but both of us knew it was a lie. I could never love someone like him. Not after what he'd done. The images hit me all over again and my eyes began to well over. No. Not here. I'm too strong for that. So I swipped them away and kept walking down the street.

When the road forked I took a left until I got to the large white house. No lights were on. It looked, deserted. Though I knew my sister and mother were safely tucked away inside.

I tiptoed on the porch trying to avoid the flood light that would snap on if I got too close; That would cause a disturbance and a lecture. I'm not supposed to be out after eleven. But hey, who really cares anyway.

When I got in the house the door shut with a small click as I climbed the stairs to my room.

It was pitch black in there and I fumbled for the light switch. But before I could I heard a small sound.

"Shh." Confused, I froze at the spot.

"Hello?" I whispered.

"Don't scream." The voice said.

The next thing I knew a cold hand clamped over my mouth. I smelt something too, it smelled like.....Chloroform.
