BOOM!! I jump up in a panic. Looking out the window to see the town going to shit second by second. The sky was filled with helicopters, and the streets were filled with police cars and people running around screaming. I ran to the tv and turned it on. There was a slight pause in my mind as I stared at the tv blur with static lines everywhere. I began to panic and ran into my bedroom. I found my old radio my dad had given me. I turned it on to hear a man broadcasting..
"Listen everyone, listen up. A terrible disease has spread. Scientist Mark Terry has the information... Yes hi everyone, if you are listening please stay calm, a mistake was made in the lab, a medication to cure cancer was a failed attempt, we accidentally injected a sick patient with this 'treatment' and well... He has escaped. If you see someone pale with bloodshot eyes please contact us at 421-954-0034, and stay as far away from them as possible. They are very aggressive and WILL try to bite you.. I repeat WILL TRY TO BITE YOU, no matter what do not let them bite you. If you however do get bit I'm sorry we have no cure yet. Please remember that if you are bit you have 2 hours until the side affects kick in. Stay inside, and people in your cars stay in your cars. PLEASE We will figure this out together everyone."
The mans voice on the radio slowly dies out. The sound of police sirens and ambulances fill my ears as my sight goes pitch black and I fall to the floor.
