"Hey Mackenzie?"
"Yes Hamish?" I looked over to my co-worker as he tried to give me a straight face, "You'll be coming in tomorrow, right?"
I stared at my co-worker, and close friend cautiously, "Unless there is a reason why I shouldn't be... yes..."
"Well, it's just that we've got this band booked for an interview tomorrow"
"Oh - so you want me to help you talking to the pretty girl's?" I chuckled.
Hamish gives me an uneasy chuckle and nods, "Something like that, but will you be able to come in?"
"I alway's come in after school, i'm not about to stop. It is my job after all" I shook my head.
"Great! See you tomorrow!" he grab's his key card and swipes out of the radio booth and I stare after him, why did he just question whether or not i'm coming in tomorrow? I always come in - besides that time they were giving away free doughnuts down the street.
I knew where my priorities are and what did what any normal human being would do - go get a bucket of cinnamon beauties to stuff in my face.
Chuckling at the memory I put my thing's in my Captain America messenger bag and put my phone, wallet and key's in the pocket and stood up. Walking out of the radio booth, signing off as I used my I.D. to open the door's I walked past Kenny the security guard, giving him a wave as I jog down the steps outside and to my tram stop.
Waiting I got on and sat down next to an elderly lady and stared out at the opposite window through my glasses.
I have an essay due tomorrow... hopefully I don't get another surprise test again. I think Hamish would kill me if I was late for this interview, he always get's fidgety and flustered around pretty girl's - which being an older cousin find's amusing and refreshing from his usual cool-macho self.
Grabbing my bag I hopped off of the tram and walked down the street to my apartment building where I walked in, turned my laptop on and started my essay - yes, i'm a last minute type of gal.
Let's hope I have enough time to make a video and sleep tonight.
