"Sweetie,wake up I need to tell you something" mom said as she shook me a little "Ugh,do I have to" I groaned "yes,now please get up" she said before she stepped out of my room. I got up toke a shower,did my business,and got ready. After I was done I walked downstairs to my mom making breakfast. I sat at the dining table and wondered what was so important that she had to tell me ?

R-Rachel & M-Mom

R- "Mom,what did you want to tell me awhile ago" I asked 

M- "oh I wanted to tell that there are going to be new neighbors coming today" she replied

R- "so,um how's that important" I giggled at the end

M- "after school,I wanted to go introduce ourselves to them" she replied back with a smile

R- "yeah,sure that's fine me" i said while getting up from the dining table

M- "ok,I think you should get going" she said

R- "yeah,kk bye mom" I said as I stepped out of the door

M- "bye sweetie" she replied 

Skip to school....

As I step in the front door to the school,I heard everyone snickering about Jacob "the new kid" I couldn't get him off my mind. School had just ended and it was a normal day as usual. 

"Mom I'm home" I yelled as I came in through the front door

*no reply*

"Mom,where are you" I started to get worried

*still no reply* 

I looked everywhere,I couldn't find her. Finally I looked in the kitchen,there was a note. It read:

"Sorry,I wasn't here when you got home. I had to get some groceries and run some errands. There is some food in the oven and I also left some money for you to order food or go to Starbucks if you'd like. I hope you had an amazing day today. ~Love,mom ❤️"

"Well what should do until mom gets here ?" I said to myself 

I went upstairs,showered,changed,and then went down stairs. I just watched tv and ate some pastries. Time went by fast and as soon as I knew it,mom was back. "Finally mom,what too you so long" I asked "I'm sorry the errands toke a long time" she replied with guilt in her voice "It's okay mom,that's what adults are for right ?" I said as I giggled at the end "yup,that's what they are for" she replied with a smile this time "Sweetie,I think you should go get ready" she said "um,why" I asked confused "don't you remember,were going to introduce ourselves to the neighbors "oh yeah,almost forgot" I replied a little embarrassed "well I think I should go get ready then" I said awkwardly "haha,yeah" she relied 

Finally,I was ready. We got of our house and walked a couple blocks to new neighbors home. We knocked and I couldn't believe my eyes......

Sorry I haven't been writing lately. I do understand that I said I will write everyday when I was on on spring break and I feel so ashamed that I haven't. I was really busy and since it's the last quarter in school,that just makes it more difficult. I hope you understand ! 😞
