The next morning, I wake up and remember what Telsa told me. Or maybe by that, I mean 11:41 at night.
"Anasia? You need a doctor or are you oka-" she begins to ask, but I cut her off.
"What do you mean he's my eighth grade crush?" I ask her. "But I still like and miss the guy from eighth grade... who is Trent? I need to see this for myself." Telsa yawns and clears her throat.
"Maira!" She shouts so that it creates an echo.
"I knew you were gonna ask," she smiles, poking her head in the door. She tosses it at me and is about to leave, but I clear my throat.
"Sit," I tell Maira. "So how did you come to a conclusion?" I ask once she's on the ground.
"Well, there's only one Trent in this yearbook and it says here-" she turns to page 69 "-that he moved during the middle of the year to the extrovert side of the country." My stomach sinks to my toes for the third time today upon partial realization that yes, my eighth grade crush was named Trent and was an extrovert. Well I guess is an extrovert.
"Anasia! You're swooning!" Telsa informs me, amused.
"But I loved eighth grade nerd guy, and I only like Trent!" I whine, ignoring Telsa. So what if I am. "There's no way nerd guy is Trent."
"As we just proved to you, there is at least one way. They look the exact same, right Telsa?" She nods and I find myself
subconsciously nodding too, looking at the pictures carefully."See? I should be a detective." Then Maira starts talking about something else, but all I can think of is Trent as one person. I guess my heart knew secretly, which is likely why I started liking him the first day. And yes, I started swooning again.
"Don't go above cloud nine, Anasia," Telsa sneers.
"Shut up," is the comeback I was 'jealous' of from you know who that I decide to use.
"Nice comeback. You da real MVP man," Maira rolls her eyes. I just stare at his yearbook picture and sigh.
"He's going to get it next time I see him. Hiding from me like that. I told him my name, I remember on the first day of school." Telsa snorts once again. My feet start getting this weird feeling, telling me to go find him. "Maira, follow me." Maira sits there with her face smushed up, shaking her head.
"Don't you dare involve me with that boy toy of yours! He might rip out my beautiful hair if I ask him his last name!"
"Fine! I'll go by myself!" I grumble. Both of them glance at my pajamas and I shrug it off.
"You know what, I'll go but only to stop you from doing anything stupid," Maira sighs, pushing herself off the sofa.
"Kay. Telsa, you should come too so we could make the new tree house," I convince. She too stands up and the three of us head out to the intro-extro boundary once again.

Once I reach Trent's house purely out if memory, I hesitate to knock the door. So Maira reaches in front of me and nearly punches a hole through it.
"He deserves it," she shrugs after seeing Telsa and I widen our eyes. Well, I guess it's true.
The door screeches open even though the house is only 15 years old, as it says on a plaque below my feet. Behind the door appears Trent, who apparently just showered (or at least I hope that's why he's all sparkly and stuff). Maira wiggles her eyebrows at me, smirking while Telsa chokes on her own breath. In my head, my reaction is a mix of Telsa and Maira's, but I manage a straight face while obviously not staring at his abs (it is now confirmed that he has some).
