A bad dream
That's all this is.
Another nightmare
Another horror story
It can't possibly be true
I will miss you
So much
You helped me
And so many others
Every step you took
left an imprint on our hearts
Too young to die
Too young to suffer
And yet
Our great
Merciful God
Allowed it.
It can't possibly be true
You cannot be dead
Not at all
but you are
It is undeniable
The proof on the headstone
Underneath the fresh laid dirt.
It can't possibly be true
But there is no denying that you
Are now resting in peace
In whatever paradise there is.
