His Light in the Dark

-Chapter Two-

Paperwork.

You might think what Ciel does is fun but NO! It's only fun when it's violin practice or fighting or SOMETHING THAT IS NOT LAME AS PAPERWORK! Paperwork deserves to die and be burn into flames. Other than that, I have to complete my homework that Doc has assigned me. I study with Doc about laws and the past. We usually talk about the laws of Europe and in our spare time, I learn a different language.

After what seems like decades of work, I got everything done. I was so beat up and tired, I couldn't even walk properly. My bedroom is right next to Ciel's which makes me forget who's bedroom is which. I accidentally went into Ciel's. He woke up when he heard my footsteps. "What are you doing in my bedroom?" He whisper yelled. "I'm...tired..." I had one eye closed and the other half open. Ciel knows what paperwork does to me so he didn't mind. I fell onto the floor and went into a deep slumber.

I woke up to a smell of breakfast. Yes, I wake up to the smell of food. I didn't smell lunch so a guest must have came by. Sebastian was giving Ciel his breakfast while I was floating. Repeat, floating. "How the hell are you able to do that?!" Ciel pointed to me. "Hm? Do what?" "You are flying Miss Ellie." I looked down and saw the ground below me. "Oh. I guess I am. Hey, can I have some breakfast?" Ciel had this are-you-serious face. Doc came into the room with tea and some breakfast.

"Good morning young master. You fell asleep in Mister Ciel's roo-". Doc looked at me funny because I'm flying. "Uh, I'm flying. So what? Can I just have my breakfast?" "Uh. Y-Yes young master." I smiled as I ate peacefully my breakfast. Ciel kept glaring at me for some reason. Was it because I'm still in my day outfit or I'm flying? "Miss Ellie, could you please get out so young master could change?" I nodded and float towards the door. Everything was fine until I hit the top of the door with my forehead and fell. "Argh!" I rubbed my forehead. I bet Ciel is holding his laughter, he always does whenever I get hurt. Well, if someone is in the room.

"Watch where you are going Ellie." "I know Ciel. I don't need a reminder." I rolled my eyes at him. Sometimes, I don't know why I like him.

I got into my regular outfit. It was fit for being at the mansion but it works for going out. My green suit with a darker green coat works good for me. The remaining object that reminds me of the mysterious blue box is this pair of blue pants. It's strange yet comfortable. Grey gloves are just an extra item that is makes my hands not dirty. I stole a pair of shoes from Ciel without him noticing. A top hat will go with me but that's for a different time.

I ate my piece of toast that Ciel gave me. He just gives me his leftovers on his plate without anyone noticing. I don't know why. After that, I got study and practice a violin duo with Ciel. Doc bores me with the laws of France which is not really important since I'm not going there for another year or so. Then he tells me the fun part, the most bizarre laws. These don't really matter but still.

"What is your favourite bizarre law?" I thought about it. "Either illegal kissing in railroads or able to marry a dead body. Dead body is my favourite to be honest." I thought about a wedding with a dead body. Imagine someone holding up the dead body and KISSING it! Oh that will be what's buzzing in the news. Sebastian came into our study classroom.

"It's time for the violin practice." "Aww. We were talking about marrying a dead body in France!" I said out loud. Ciel came behind Sebastian with his what-the-hell-are-you-talking-about face. I grabbed my violin case and ran over to them. "Au revoir Doc!"I waved back at Doc. He smiled and waved back. "Are we still playing that Bach piece?" Ciel nodded. "Yes we still are, if you were forgetting about it." I am about five seconds away from killing this little boy. "Now now children. We don't want to fight over Miss Ellie's short term memory." "I am about five second away from killing you too Sebastian." I glared at him. He chuckled. "I'd love to see you try." OK I HAD ENOUGH.

"OH YEAH! YOU AND ME AFTER VIOLIN PRACTICE!" Ciel had a panic face. "Ellie!" "It's alright young master. I would go hard on her. After all, she is just a human." Huma- "What the hell is that smell?! Smells like...burnt cookies..." I stopped, searching for the smell. Where is it? I saw cigar man and Finnian trying to hold a plate of cookies. I was on my knees crying when I saw the burnt cookies.

"ELLIE! It's not what it looks!" "My cookies..." Tears were rolling down my cheeks. How could they. "Finni over baked them so-" "ME?! YOU WERE THE ONE WHO WAS BAKING THEM!" "EH?! IT WAS YOUR IDEA TO PUT THE OVEN TEMPERATURE HIGHER SO THE COOKIES WILL-" I threw a burnt cookie. "My children...was burnt...because of you two..." I was hugging the hot tray of cookies with awkward glares from everyone. "We should get going to violin practice..." I slowly got up, stilling hugging my children. "Ok..." I float back to the violin practicing room or whatever. I'm too sad to even look back at those two murderers.

"My children..." Ciel was getting annoyed. "Come on Ellie. There's enough time to cry after we practice." "There will be 3 dead bodies after violin practice..." Ciel and Sebastian gulp at my thought which I said out loud. I got up from cookie sobbing and started to practice. Ciel sometimes complain to me how Sebastian made the, practice hard pieces of work from composers. I tell him to stop nagging and be a man. That makes him annoyed though.

"That's it for today. You can go back to your duties now." "HOLD UP SIR FANCY PANTS! REMEMBER OUR FIGHT?!" "Sir Fancy Pants?" Ciel had the WTF face but I stick my tongue out at him. We went to fencing area where Ciel sometimes fence with Sebastian. Sebastian stuck his hand out. "Make your first move. Unless you're chicken." What the hell he just say...

WHAT THE FREAKIN' HELL HE JUST SAID?!

I sprint towards him then jumped into the air. I looked like I was going to aim at his head but really I was aiming for his face. I stuck my leg out to kick him but I did a backflip and smack his face with a burnt cookie. He ate the burnt cookie which made him gag a bit. "THATS FOR CALLING ME CHICKEN!" "Ellie, you are inside, not outside. Stop yelling..." I turn towards Ciel who was enjoying this fight with his little walking cane and stuff. I notice Sebastian running towards me with a grin on his face. I know his little plan.

Without looking towards him, I grabbed his suit and tried to flip him. Repeat, try. He was heavy as hell I tell you. Instead, I kicked his stomach cause he was too fat. "Sebastian, lose some weight. You're getting heavier by the second." Sebastian was on his feet, smiling. Must he smile about EVERYTHING?! Sebastian grabbed those duelling swords and started to hit me with them. I jumped over him and kicked his arm which was trying to get my leg. I grabbed the fighting sword and ran towards it at Sebastian.

THAT'S ENOUGH!
