*Madison's POV*
I woke up to the sound of "get up let's go on an adventure" and as I heard that I saw my best friend zach standing right in front of me.I wasn't
Happy at all I'm not a morning person. So I ignored him.
"Stop ignoring me" zach said with puppy dog eyes.
"It's 3:00 a.m, hell no" I said very grumpy.
"Come stop being a party pooper"he said annoyed.
"Ok what ever makes you happy"I said rolling my eyes.
"What are we even going to do?" I questioned him.
"just walk around or something"he said shrugging his shoulders.
"Ok" I said rolling my eyes once again.
I went in the bathroom and changed into white washed jeans and a white tank top with a flannel shirt and put my hair in a messy bun. And then we started sneaking back out my window. As we were walking he asked how has life been treating you(because we haven't seen each other in a week witch is a long time for us)
"Eh life's been treating me wonderful at school Brad finally asked me to the dance."
"Oh cool" he said quietly"
"Hurry come here" as he took me into the woods.
"Where are we going?" I questioned
As he took my hand and took me over to this cliff were you could see all of North Carolina.
You could see beautiful city light and the fair. It's so beautiful I whispered.
"I know" zach whispered back.
We sat down on a blanket and we just looked at the sight and talked for a long time.
Then we checked the time it was 7:41 a.m so we headed back to my house and he walked me back to my house(we're neighbors)
"Bye zach see you at school tommorow"i said sadly(nobody likes school)
"Bye Madi" zach said as he winked.
we walked back inside are houses and I slept all day, I was tired.
*THE NEXT DAY*
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*I woke up and turned off my alarm clock and got dressed I put on white washed jean shorts and a PINK short sleeve shirt and straightened my hair and my black vans and I grabbed my back pack and climbed out the window and went to Zach's because he gives me a ride to school.
I knocked on the door. He came out side.
"You ready mads?" Zach said with a smirk.
"I guess so" I said as I smiled.
We got in his car.
The first thing I did was turn on the radio. The first song that came on was don't by Bryson tiller. We both loved that song so we jammed out to it until we got to school.
As we pulled into are normal parking space I saw my boyfriend Brad I ran into his arms and zach just walked inside and ignored it.
*Zachs POV*
I don't get what Madi sees in Brad yeah he's the captain of the football team but he's a complete ass to about everyone. She's beautiful and I think she deserves way better.
I looked outside they were about to walk in holding hands and the bell ring I walked behind them as they came inside.
We all had the same first hour witch is history. They sat in the back row and I sat a few seats away. Then the bell rang. And a new girl walked in she was gorgeous.
"Would anyone like to show selina a tour of the school" the history teacher said politely.
"Me!" I said.
"Ok zach" the history teacher said raising one of his eyebrows.
I got up and took Selina to show a tour of the school she was so beautiful.
So I showed her all the places around the school so we started to head back and I asked her some questions.
"So where did you move from"I asked .
"L.A" she said very shy.
"Did you know your beautiful"I couldn't help but ask her it kinda just slipped out.
She just blushed.
"Do you mind if I ask for your number"I said nervously.
"Sure" she said smiling.
I gave her a pen and she wrote it on my arm.
Then the classroom was right around the corner so we walked in and sat at are seats. Then the bell rang.
*end of the day*
*Madis POV*
Me and zach were laughing walking out of our last class because he kept saying a bunch of jokes.
Then me and him were walking through the hall to see Brad and the new girl Selina making out.
"BRAD WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" I yelled .
"What's the problem Madison?" Brad said stupidly.
"Selina"zach said heart broken.
"I'm sorry.."Selina said.
"We're done Brad"I said tearing up.
"I thought you were different!"I yelled.
Zach grabbed me and started walking out of the school doors
"I'm so sorry Madi he's a douche any way."zach said madly.
"It's fine it's not like it's your fault." I said while my eyes were tearing up.
When we got in the Car I couldn't help it I started bursting out crying. Zach was pissed of not about Selina but seeing his best friend this heart broken.
"Wanna come back over to my house we can watch movies" zach asked.
"Sure" I said wiping the tears off my cheek see pulled into the Zachs drive way we went inside into his room to watch Netflix.
*zachs POV*
I could care less about Selina I don't want to what so ever seeing my best friend this upset and heartbroken. So when we got to my house we were planning on watching Netflix. I let her pick what ever she wants she picked out one of her favorite movies. 17 again with zach effron because she absolutely loves zach effron.
Any way we watched the movie and in the middle of the movie she put her head on my shoulder.
The movies over and it's dark out so I asked if she wanted to go the hide out were you can see all of North Carolina. So we walked out side and it was cold.
"Oh my god it's freezing" Madi said shivering.
"Want my jacket" I asked madi.
"No I'll b-"I said till zach cut me off.
"Here you go"I said covering the jacket over her shoulders.
We made it to the hide out and we laid on the huge rock right by the side of the ledge we talked and gazed at the stars.
*madis POV*
We gazed at the stars and talked for a while until he turned over and he kissed me..I kissed him back we kissed for two minutes
"I've been meaning to tell you this but I've liked you for a very ling time"
I just blushed and smiled.
And kissed him on the check.
"Your so beautiful" zach said.
I didn't know what to say but I just blushed again and smiled. i feel like I'm already in love with my best friend..
"But theirs something else I've been meaning to tell you..I'm moving to Miami, Florida"I'm sorry Madi.
"But,but"I stuttered.
"What" zach said.
"I love you"I Said about to burst into tears.
"I love you too mads"zach said very sadly.
"When are you going to move their"Madi questioned.
"Um tommrow that's why I kissed you so I would know when I went to Florida at least I kissed the prettiest girl in North Carolina"I said looking into her eyes.
Madi started crying.
