Tessa stood at the side of the stage. She was sweating. She wanted to play guitar, but since her parents......... passed, she couldn't afford one.
"Lets go!" Dermot whispered in her ear.
She strode onto the stage, praying that she looked better than she felt.
"Hello dear, what's your name?" Katy Perry smiled up at her.
"Tessa. Tessa Malone."
"What will you be singing?"
"Red Ragtop by Tim McGraw." She stuttered.
Th familiar first chords of the song came from the speakers and Tessa took the Microphone in her hands.

When I was done, the crowd went wild. Tears came to my eyes- happy tears.
"Tessa, that was amazing!" Louis Walsh was standing. As were Nicole and Simon and A portion of the crowd.
"Its a yes from me!" Nicole shouted over the noise.
"Yes from me aswell!" Simon laughed.
"Yes!" Louis slammed his hand down on the table, as if to prove his point.
"I'm sorry, but your voice is untrained, and you are very young. Its a no from me."
Tessa almost cried. She was going through!
