The first day of school was going great. It was now time for lunch. So far I had only found one person who I knew I would be cool with the whole year. Twuan. Twuan was cute and all but my mind was still stuck on Pierre. Who had not text me back since this morning. I pulled out my phone and text him "PIERRE I KNOW YOU SEEN MY TEXT. REPLY BACK SO I KNOW ILL HAVE A RIDE THERE. MY MOM LEAVES TO WORK AT 3:30." Walking to the cafeteria I saw Twuan and two girls and another guy. One of the girls was white the other black. And the boy was Black as hell. "Sup Chenelle this is Amber, Tasha, and Kyle." Hey Yall wassup" Yall got lunch this hour I said?" Yup they all said smiling. Okay cool. We walked in It was way different from my other schools. It was built just like at the mall food courts. One sign said Grill, one said Mexican foods, the other said Italian. The Grill line was the longest and second the Mexican food line, lastly the Italian line. "We headed to the Grill Chenelle. You coming?" Umm yeah let's go" As we stood in line waiting our turn I remember I had cash on me. I always did. My mom was head nurse at her clinic. My dad was A real Estate agent, and always kept me with money. They both did. My parents divorced When i was 13. But me and dad always hung out. I had Another sister who was 18. Her name is Tifani. She looked just like me just a little darker. Same shape and everything. I haven't seen her in a while. I'm supposed to go over there this weekend. She always sneaks me in those teen clubs and we always show out. "So you new around this area Chenelle Amber said"? Yeah I just moved here a few months ago. Okay well you'll love this school girl Tasha said". I laughed. "Hello Can I have fries and Chicken Tenders?" with a clear fruit?" I asked the white lady who clearly didn't like her job. "That's It?" Yup. "$5.23" I gave her a $20 bill. She gave me my change and I looked up and saw Twuan, Amber, Tasha And Kyle waiting on me. Amber wore a hoody with some denim jeans, and Adidas. Tasha wore her hair up in a messy bun , stud earrings, Red shirt and light blue jeans With some jays. Kyle was wearing Levis, Levi shirt and some black chucks. They looked fly. I smiled as I knew they would be my crew. We sat directly In the center of the cafeteria.

All you heard was people talking laughing and a few girls practicing cheer. Everybody looked cool but you can tell it was some shit. "Chenelle you got a boyfriend?" Tasha asked. "Yeah his name Pierre. Twuan said sarcastically. I had told him earlier because he was being nosey." I laughed out loud and said yeah what he said ". She nodded and said okay girl thats wassup. he go To Reagan "? Umm Nope He go to Peedmont". Oh okay. she said. The last couple of minutes we just talked about crazy things and some of the teachers here. I had a good feeling about this school.

It was 20 minutes left in English and I just sat there starring when my phone vibrated. I looked at it and I had 3 messages from Pierre. I hadnt realized it when I was In lunch he was texting me. "BABY YOU CAN COME OVER ILL GET YOU FROM HOME" "CHENEEEELLLLLEEE"? "ALRIGHT FUCK IT" i read. I text back. "PIERRE I JUST RECEIVED THESE OKAY BUT SCHOOL A BE OVER IN LIKE 15 MINUTES ILL CALL YOU WHEN I GET HOME. ILY" This boy is tripping for real. I thought. It was time to go and Everybody stood up to leave. I walked down the stairs trying to make it to my locker when this Dark skinned girl who looked like her weave had been in 3 years too long bumped the shit outta me. " Damn Bitch" i yelled. "Who"? she said laughing. "You" she jogged her black ass up the stairs. If she wasn't the same height as shack i would of beat her ass right then and there. But I was In a rush to see Pierre.

I got home and took a shower putting on some Victoria secret sweats and Top to match and some jays Pierre had bought me. I called Pierre to let him know I was ready. He said he'll be here in 15. Pierre didnt live that far anyway. So I went down to the kitchen and popped me a hot pocket in and turned the tv on we had in our kitchen. My hot pocket was done And I started eating it. While watching Twilight. I love that movie. HONK HONK! That was Pierre outside. I finished my food grabbed my purse locked up and headed down the drive way.

Pierre drove a Tahoe. He was tall and that truck complemented his looks. He got out and I rushed in his arms. "Baby I missed you so much" I said following behind a kiss that was so passionate. "Damn girl." he said laughing. He opened my side of the door. We drove off. "How yo first day of school Chenelle"? "It was straight I met a few people and some bitch bumped me." But it was nice." Cool" You hungry?" No baby" Alright well I am. We pulled into a McDonald's parking lot and Pierre ordered. On our way

to Pierre's house mom called me. "Hello" Hey Honey, where are you ?" "Hey mommy I'm with Pierre. You oaky "? Yeah I'm on break just checking on you" Okay. "K". click. We pulled up in Pierre's Driveway. Got out and went through the side door." Into the basement which was his room. I layed across his bed as he ate his Mickey D's. I felt myself dozing off. I was tired from school. I then felt Pierre's arm cross my waist and he kissed my neck... We both dozed off into a romantic sleep.....
