"Its about the king and queen..." He started with a sad shaky voice, "..well no one knows this but the queen.. My mom has only a couple days left and the king.. My dad came down with a bad illness and is in critical condition.." His voice was so shaky. I can't believe the king and queen won't be around much longer. "I'm so sorry your highness--" "Andrew, just call me Andrew" "...okay Andrew then I'm very sorry to hear about the king and queen I know how hard that can be to lose your parents.." I pushed away the memories of the day I lost my parents. "You lost your parents to?" Andrew questioned. "Yea when I was a younger girl, they burned in a bad fire, my aunt took me in I'd stay home while she worked and about two years ago I started working here myself." I could feel my heartbreak as I talked about my parents. "I'm sorry for your loss..oh how rude of me I never asked your name?" "Its Stacie, and its okay." Maybe he is really a sweet guy, while I was thinking to myself I guess I hadn't noticed the prince talking but soon he fell silent and was wiping his eyes. Something started tugging at my heart and without thinking I pulled the prince into my gentle brace, hugging him as he sobbed into my arms. After a little while his crying stopped and he sat up. "Thank you Stacie I usually don't fall apart like that." "Its okay andrew if you ever need anything you can just ask." "Well thank you I'm gonna head in now its getting kinda late" I hadn't noticed the time, "okay goodnight your highness" "goodnight Stacie." After tonight I definantly had a new perspective on the prince. I finished writing all the events of the day in my journal and started heading back to the palace...tomorrow is gonna be a long day...
