*Ryan's POV*

I wake up to a small movement in my arms. It was my little bestie, dreaming. I wonder what she's dreaming about. Maybe life or love or color, she's always loved them most. I just laid there, watching her as she slept on my chest. She just looked so peaceful. Today was our last day here and we are have to leave by noon. It was around 8 now and I was laying in bed, playing with Jen's hair. "Good morning" she yawned softly then began to stretch. "Good morning sleepyhead" I reply while rubbing her back. She sat up and looked at me. "So today is the end of a perfect weekend, huh?" "Ya but only for a few more days, then we hangout at your place and play videogames" I said as I sat up next to her. She looked down at her tiny hands. "We still have till noon. Maybe we can pack up the car and go for one more hike. How does that sound" I ask, putting my hand on her shoulder. She grined "ok, but keep up this time". "What? You were the one behind" I let out a chuckle. "Ready for some foods" I asked, grabbing her wrist and making our way out if the tent. "Yes" she giggled. We eat a pretty big breakfast to prepare for the last hike. We change into of hiking outfits, pack up then head to the hiking hills to find the rope swing again. We saw squirrels, deer, lizards, and butterflies. They were so beautiful and I took a picture of each one. Finally we stumbled upon the swing and she went first. Its always scary for me to watch her push off. I set a timer on my phone for noon and we took turns swinging on the rope. Beep beep beep, the timer went signalling up it was time to leave. Jen signed as we walked back to her car. "Back to the world, huh" she said tring to be positive. "Yeah, back to work and other people" she continued with a huff. "Are you okay, Jennybear" I asked, opening her car door and closing it behind her. As I got in she looked at me with sad eyes and a big smile. "Yeah, what makes you say that" she asked loosing her smile as she started the car and began to pull away. "Is it about leaving or about work or about someone" I tried to think of anything that could take her beautiful smile and as I finished she stopped. "Look, I don't like her....okay but she makes you happy so I'm not going to get between you and your happiness" she remarked as she pulled off the propriety and began to drive home. I didn't say anything. What was there to say? Tracy makes Jen uncomfortable and I dont know why or how to fix that. The ride home was quite except for the sound of the tires on the road. We finally arrived at my house. "Jen, do you wanna come in and hangout for a bit" I offered. She glanced over at Tracy's car for a split second. "Uh, I have alot of unpacking to do but I'll text you later" she said as she walked back to her car. "Jen" I called out making her turn to me. I rush over and hug her tightly. "For the record, you are so much more special" I wispered to her as I let go and opened her car door. "Bye I love you" I yelled as began walking back. "Bye I love you too" she yelled back, leaving the parking lot. I unlock my door and step inside. The first thing I hear is Tracy yelling at the Tv, again. I follow the noise to her room and knocked. "What happened this time" I joked with a smirk. It had gotten quiet all of a sudden, then the door opened with Tracy flying out. "You're back you're back, I missed you so much" she yelled, pulling me in to a tight hug. "Yeah, so how are you and the house doing" I asked trying not to sound annoyed. I hate when she acts like a 4 year old but I have to admit its cute sometimes. "We're good now that you're back" she squeaked. "I'm glad you guys did okay." "How was camping." "It was so amazing, I had a great time." "Thats great" she said rolling her eyes. "Hey, whats with the eyes, she my friend and your not even my girlfriend" I said sternly. She grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me into her room and sat me on the chair. "Well, what should we do about that, hmm" she questioned as she sat on my lap facing me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and moved closer. "Well..." she repeated, pushing my chin up slowly. Oh this is going to be interesting.

*Jen's POV*

As I pulled up to my little home about two blocks from Ryan's, I immediately hear Bear barking for me. He's trained to know my smell and he can only bark at cars if I'm in it. I walk in and I'm greeted by 90 pounds of dog running at me. "Awe you're getting so big. Yes you are, yes you are" I say to my little man while rubbing his tummy. Then I carry all my bags to my room and everything else to the closet by the bathroom. As I go to get the last thing, I see Ryan's phone under his flannel. I put it in my pocket and throw his shirt on my bed. After everything was in it's place I get in my car and drive to Ryan's to return his stuff. As I'm driving his phone rings, and it's his boss. I pull over and answer it for him because his boss has an issue with missed calls. "Hello. Hi. No this is his best friend. Yes. Okay. I'll be sure to tell him. Okay. You too. Bye." Ryan's boss needs him to work tomorrow if he can. I set the phone down and continue driving. As I pulled up I notice his front door was open a bit but the screen door was closed which was weird for them. They usually have the AC on. I lock my car and head to the door. "Ryan" I called out as I knocked. Unlocked? I walk in and look around. His bag of clothes were still sitting by the door and it was quiet. For two raging gamers, this was unusual. I walk down the hall and look in his room, nobody. I set his phone on his bed and proceed down the hall to Tracy's room. Maybe she had seen him or they're playing videogames. I go to push the slightly open door and what I see, hurt me somehow. Ryan in his boxers on top of Tracy in just socks, making out. I coved my eyes. "I'm so sorry" I yelled as I slammed the door and ran out of their house. I got in my car and my head fell onto my steering wheel. Why were they...how could they? I couldn't even complete a question without another one poping into my head. "Who am I kidding? We're just best friends" I said to myself as I started my car. Then I saw Ryan running out in basketball shorts. He run up to my window and I rolled it down. "Look, I can explain" he panted trying to catch his breath. "Oh your boss called and he wants you to come in tomorrow if you can. I came to reture your phone and flannel but I forgot thet shirt. Pick it up whenever" I interrupted. "You dont need to explain what I just saw" I continued turning away from him. "Listen I.." he tried to continue. "Look I have to go feed Bear and I know what sex looks like and I'm not your girlfriend so have fun" I said giving him a fake smile as I rolled up my window and left. He just stood there and watched me drive off. I drove home in tears. Why does it hurt, he's not even mine? I got inside my house and slid down against the my front door. Bear came over and laid in my lap, whimpering. I glanced at his full food bowl then looked at him and sighed. I rubbed his back with tears in my eyes. "At least you love me back" I said to him, he licked my cheek as I closed my eyes and began to cry.
