We had stopped off at a shit hole gas station in the middle of Nowheresville. I sat, lonely and starved, in the passenger seat. The radio station was playing Featherstone by The Paper Kites, and even the soft little tune couldnt manage to calm down my erratic heart beat. What was happening to me. I didnt want any of this.

Rolling up my sleeves I peared down at the scars. White and bruising lines decorated my forearms and mocked me. So simple. So easily done. Sighing I looked back out to Fravar, who was watching me with a somberly sad face. I wanted nothing more than to go back to the day in the hallway and scream at former me to stay the hell away from this pretty boy. He was bad news.

Flicking throught the stations as we barreled down the rode away from Nowheresville, ill I managed to find Peirce the Veils, Disasterology and sat back. Pearing over at Fravar, he smiled, a crooked grin. "Ive wanted to ask you something," his voice softer.

Nodding, I sang along to the tune, 'What a waste of a perfectly good clean wrist' He reactched over and shut off the music and pulled over to look at her face to face. Silver eye to glowing eye.

"I know you dont remember me very well, but Ive always loved you. And I still do. A lot." He looked away and sighed starting the car and cranked the radio back up. 'Every living thing dies alone - what am I doing here!'

Reaching over I hugged him. "From what I can remeber you wer-are one of my best friends."

(Friendzoooooned!!)

Id fallen asleep hugging his arm driving down a winding mountain rode, and woke up alone across the river from the little red barn.

I sure do miss Nowheresville...
