Running into Norman Reedus

Chapter 5

Waking up my phone vibrated I looked over to my clock it read 7:06. I then reached over to look at my phone. It was a text from a random number.

Unknown- Hey its Norman, the guy that helped you at the paint shop.

Me: ah so that's your name.

I jumped out of bed and went into the kitchen making hot water so I can make some warm hot chocolate. Then I turned my Phone on and connected it to my stereo, going on Pandora and the song Dangerous Woman came on by Ariana Grande. Walking back into my kitchen and grabbing a mug and putting hot chocolate mix in it, pouring water into the cup and mixing the liquid.

Sipping my hot chocolate I decided to go online and look for a puppy. I felt lonely at the house and needed company and I just want a puppy because they are so adorable and cute. After awhile of searching i found a french bulldog puppy it was for free and the lady told me to meet her at central park at 1:30.

Since it was only 9 I cleaned my cup out and went to take a shower. But before I jumped in I checked my phone and i got two text messages from the man I now knew to be Norman.

Norman: Yep it is.

Norman: And I was wondering if you want to hang out sometime maybe coffee and a movie or something...

I smiled at the thought of a man actually wanting to hang out with me. Then responded back to him.

Me: Sure I would love to I'm going to Central Park to pick up my new puppy...maybe you want to join me?

I put my phone down and hopped in the shower. After my shower I put Victoria's Secret bra and panties on with ripped skinny jeans on, with black combat boots, and a G-Eazy concert shirt on.

I then went to put on my make up the averadge foundation, conceler, and contoured my face. Then put my winged eyeliner and my bright red matt lipstick. After I felt satisfied with my make up, I pulled my hair into a high messy ponytail.

As I walked downstairs I got a message from Norman.

Norman: I would love to join you want me to come get you?

I smiled at his reply and agreed to him getting me. I gave him my address and plugged my phone in and connected it to my radio and put the song Lullaby by Niykee Heaton on, and went to tighten up my house up a bit.

After a few songs had passed I heard a knock at the door. I answered the door and there he was in a pladded shirt rolled up a little, his raybands, and another hat.

"Hey, ready to go?" Norman asked me with a smile.

"Yeah just let me turn off my radio and get my phone and purse" I smiled at him and waved him in.

After I got everything and locked the door we made our way to the elevator and then started walking to Central Park.

"So what's new with you?" Norman asked me I looked at him then infringe of me.

"Nothing much really I just moved here so it's all caous really, ummm and I'm excited for the puppy it's lonley." I said back.

"Nice where did you move from to come to the city" He asked.

"Atlanta, Georgia" I responded

"Ahh for work or school?" He questioned looking at me

"For work technically, I mean I want to be a make up artist really"

"That's a fun job to do" He said.

We carried on with the conversation till we reached the park and that's where I tested the lady that I was meeting with the puppy I wanted.

I saw the lady and she gave me the puppy we said our goodbyes and me and Norman left.

"She's so cute what's her name" Norman asked petting the dog.

"I like the name Nora" I told him.

"That's a good name" He told me.

We walked back to my apartment and Norman ordered pizza which was a fight between who would pay, and Norman won in the most unfair way of tickleing me to death.

After a few more hours of hanging out it was time for him to leave which to be honest I didn't want to happen.

"By Nora" he said rubbing her belly. "And bye Mae I hope we will hang out again." He said giving me a hug.

I wrapped my arms around him and said, "Bye Norman, I will love to hang out again to" I said he released me and started to the door.

"I will text you, okay" He said.

"Okay. Bye" he then walked out and I shut the door.

I then got ready for bed and got Nora on my bed. Laying down about to close my eyes and my phone lit up...

Norman: Goodnight Mae xx

Me: Goodnight Norman x

I fell asleep with a smile on my face thinking of Norman.
