I see two kids playing with a ball outside of the window to the right of me I see a man pulling up in his car. That's mr. Calaway. His kids run to him but he pushes them off of him. I think to myself.
Annalise: Virginia! You haven't finished the dishes my ladies are coming over , Brendan is not asleep. Hurry up! Before I get police in here go go go!!!
Virginia: Alright Mrs. Calaway
I walk towards the sink, as I hear the kids come in crying. Annalise is the wife of mr. Calaway.
Annalise: Virginia make those kids stop crying come on this is your job
Mr. Calaway: Is Virginia giving you a hard time?
Annalise: yes she's so slow today
Mr.calaway: You better hurry it up ! ( says in an angry voice)
I always get hurt by the way they talk to me. Anyone would, Brendan and Cali are there kids there sweethearts when there not trying to act like there parents. Their parents seem to ignore them a lot which is sad for me. I hear the doorbell Annalise's friends have arrived.
Annalise: Virginia get the damn door
I open the door and they push me out of the way and hand me their fancy coats
Annalise's friends: Annalise there's definitely something different about you
Annalise: I had a kid !
They all laugh loudly and wake Brendan up
Annalise: * sigh ugh that kid cannot shut up. Virginia go put him to sleep then make us something to eat now
Virginia: on it Mrs calaway.
I can't stand the way she treats her kids.
Virginia: Annalise Bre-
Annalise's friends: Did she just call you by your real name. Yea black woman it's Mrs calaway alright!
Virginia: umm yes mamm
I walk away but hear them talking about me.
Annalise's friends: You cannot let her talk to you like that, you need to do something I will not put up with this crap no more .
Annalise: uh yes I understand
Annalise usually takes orders from her friends and I can't stand that . I walk over to Brendan's crib and feel his forehead. It feels kinda warm, so I take his temperature.
Virginia: Oh poor baby.
I go out of the room into the living room with all of Annalise's friends and there was a moment of silence.
Virginia: Mrs. Calaway! Brendan has a fever.
Annalise: Virginia this is your job... you're supposed to take care of the kids
Virginia: I know Mrs. Calaway but what should I do?!
Annalise: Ugh just give me the kid, cmon Brendan. Ladies I'm so sorry I'll call you tomorrow!
Annalise's friends: Alright honey, tell me how Brendan does okay bye.
I kept thinking to myself how can she live knowing her child is sick and not even care, I just don't understand Mrs.Calaway sometimes.
