She was beautiful. She was so different,so full of mysteries and I loved her. God,I could still remember the first time I saw her. 17th of June 2014, 1 am. It was the day me and my best friend Claire declared independence. We both knew we had enough of life;our parents were greedy psycho dreamers and our "school friends" were making us cry.
We both knew we had no future in that lonely town long before that day anyway. So we had a pretty good plan which consisted of:
1) the packing: lightly, only essentials and the highest amount of money we can get
2)the meeting up: 1:30 am , outside of the super market near road 9
3)running for the road, until we find a safe place to sleep.
I went there real early so I just bought some snacks and kept lurking near all the aisles because thats what happens when you're an awkard kid, an awkward early kid. And there she was ,the most beautiful girl I have ever layed eyes on. Buying a can of Dr.Pepper at 1 am. Seeing her was supposed to be absurd, like seeing a plant in the middle of the ocean, but it wasn't. Something about the way she looked ,and the way she was positioned right next to the chips and the salsa made me feel safe, and comfortable, like the family I never had. She was so beautiful ,at almost 5 feet nine ,with probably the world's tallest legs 19 years old,or maybe 20. She was wearing shorts that fit perfectly on her, and an oversized white shirt that looked like maybe it belonged to her dad or lover. Lover,I thought.I hated thinking about it,but she probably did have a lover, maybe a really attractive football player or something . And it struck me so hard and I started feeling nausea: Why am I jealous? Is this love at first sight?
