I woke up to the sound of my friends hushing each other. I sat up on my springy bed and pulled my slippers on.

"I told you!"whispered Macey.

"You told her what?!"I half-shouted questioning my friends.

"Umm...that we should have pancakes for brunch?"said Liz not really sure of what she had just said. I got out of bed and pulled on my white fluffy dressing gown, as I walked down the fresh smelling hallway I heard shouting.

"Where is he?!"

"He is safe ok and that's all you need to know!"

"He will never be safe and you know that!"

When I walked into the kitchen I saw an angry Aunt Abby turn her sharp posture to a more relaxed one and I saw a surprised Agent Townsend nearly drop his morning cup of coffee at the sight of me.

In my mind clogs were turning and 7 seconds later I exclaimed...

"Where's Preston and when did you get here?!"

I could tell Abby was hesitating and that she didn't know what to say so instead she blurted out.

"Preston's safe in the mansion with your mom love, and what's with the volume kiddo?"Abby said oblivious to the fact that they've both just been shouting 30 seconds ago.

"If you haven't realised the mansion burnt down and mom came with us to London, remember?I said.

Abby blushed which I've never seen her do then I looked at Townsend who was looking at Abby like she was a hot sexy angel. I cleared my throat. Townsend finally turned his gaze towards me and I gave him the 'Morgan Glare'.

"Preston is safe with top security, my type of security,"sighed Abby with heaviness.

I knew then I couldn't say anything else because if I did then Abby would start shouting and plus she'd never tell me. So instead of saying anymore I walked out the room into the hallway.

I heard Abby and Townsend have a 'normal conversation' about places they'd like to go on holiday. To be honest spies never have 'normal convos' they always turn into something else.

Thinking back on the subject I said to myself a loud.

"I'll have to find out myself."

"Find out what yourself ?"

I jumped round startled only to see plain baige coloured walls, vases on brown furniture and a heater which laid on it was a cream towel.

I must be hearing things I thought after I checked the perimeter. Anyway I probably just heard what Macey should have said.

When I went back into me and my friends room, I grabbed my stuff and headed straight for the shower.

After I came out, my friends were acting really suspicious whispering and glancing at me all the time. So instead of giving them attention, I decided to leave them be and go straight to our room. Once inside I pulled on my cream top with my black skater skirt. I combed my hair and put it in a side plait.

Then I walked downstairs towards the smell of waffles coming from the kitchen.

Bex and Macey were making waffles whilst everyone else sat there reading, talking or on their phones.

I went to the nearest chair and pulled it out.

"That's my chair," beamed Bex as if she had just become the best spy ever ( though she probably is.)

"And don't bother sitting on that chair, it's reserved for moi," Macey pointed at the chair next to Liz, who was reading '101 ways to detonate a bomb'. There was no point for her to read it because she already better than the book says bit for her, I guess it's a pastime.

As I looked around the only chair left was at the end of the table, next to Townsend. So I walked over ( as a normal person would) to the chair not understanding why I felt most pairs of eyes glued to me.

What was I doing? Drooling? Making goat noises? I don't know but something was wrong because as I sat Townsend shifted in his seat.
