Dear Meg,
The sun was shining brightly today.
Mom encouraged me to go outside and walk Rusty to the park near my house.
I told her "I don't feel like it." and went back up to my room.
She had said it was a nice day out. But, I knew she just wanted me out of the house. For once.
I wouldn't had been surprised if she'd even lock me out afterward.
Though, that didn't happen.
"House" doesn't feel much like "home" anymore when you feel like you're no longer wanted.
Love, Dylan
