A brief overview.
Hi I'm back again, I hope you aren't coming straight here. You should have either completed beginners or have been doing it for some time. This will focus on some more advanced things, techniques and so on. If you haven't read beginners then I would advise it so you know the type of equipment you may need.

The breathing technique.
This technique is vital, it helps you not to run out of breath as soon as you start. The most important thing is.. there is no correct way to do this method. The most popular is breath in, breath out, out but you can do this any way you want. The dominant one should always be out. Play around with different breathing patterns ( using the same training scheme as beginners ) until you find one you're comfortable with.

A New Skill.
These are also known as tactics, they are very important in improved you should start learning them so when you get to the top, you can do it easily. Here is one for you to start trying:
Boxing in.
You don't want to be in a bad position so when you want to over take your stuck. Take a look at this diagram for example.

🔟🅱🆎
🅾🅰. 10, B and AB are in ideal places, they can easily get ahead. I'm not saying you need to be in the front but don't be in a place like O, he can't get ahead, he's completely boxed in the only way out is to go all the way round, but that will waste time. A's in an alright position, but not the best, she can move to the side ( she doesn't have to run backwards) and overtake AB.

Training.
I think your main training at this stage is working on these new skills and techniques. Repeat the training in beginners and work on these new skills, remember to build it up slowly.
