"How can this happen?" asked my mom.
"I dont know! He just left!" replied my aunt.
"How long?"
" Nearly 3 days. He said that he will leave for some time but then he didnt come back. I told the police about it and they said that they will do their best to find him."
My parents had a silent conversation for a few seconds then looked back at us. " We will help too, but for now lets keep it to ourselves and the police. We dont want anyone else to get worried about it especially dad. He's gonna give us a long lecture just like last time. Ugh, that was ugly!" said my dad. My aunt cracked a smile and so did my parents. Then suddenly a voice in the back of my head told me: "Don't worry dear, your uncle is safe. You have your own problems to take care of and that's if you're still alive." The voice laughed then faded. "Who are you?!" I demanded. And Ive realized that it came out louder than I thought.
Everyone looked at me with concern. "What happened, dear?" asked my mom. Once I told them about the voice, they stared at me with disbelief. Finally, my dad broke the silence. " The voice said that Jason is safe, but from whom?" " I don't know but its not good." replied my mom. "Where will we start searching?" I said. "Oh no dear." said my dad "youll stay hear with Emma" he continued.
"B-but!"
" No, I will not let you get hurt because of this. Now, I think its enough for today, we'll continue tomorrow. We should all rest, especially you Emma" We all agreed and said our goodbyes. We went to the car and once we reached home, Ive realized that from now on everything's gonna change.
