Hi guys! This is my first story. It is written in 1st person so that means Bennett is talking. I hope you like it! Pic is of Bennett.
"Bennett, wake up!" Yelled my mom up the stairs, startling me so much that I nearly fell off my bed. "You still need to milk the cow this morning and you forgot to feed the horses last night."
"Sorry mom, I'll make sure to to that right after breakfast." I said groggily.
"Oh I don't know about that," said my mom . "If you don't feed the animals, why should you get fed? Also, how are you going to drink a glass of milk every morning if you don't milk the cow? Now get dressed, come down and do your chores."
"Yes mom." I said reluctantly. I got out of bed, got dressed and did my chores.
For breakfast, we had eggs and bacon. After breakfast, I went to play with my pig but couldn't find him. I went around the barn looking for him and calling his name. Then after a short while, I remembered that we had bacon in our breakfast this morning. I then surprisingly began to rejoice a little bit. Frankly, I didn't really like my pig when he was alive. He was fat, lazy, hairy, smelly, and pooped wherever he could. Then I went and took my horse Tina out for a peaceful ride.
