"Lolaa......"
A sweet voice sung out to me as I was curled up in bed, fast asleep.
"Lolaaaaaaa..." It sung again, this time... louder.
"LOLA!" The sweet, sincere voice turned sour and vicious, as I hurriedly jumped up from my warm, colourful dream.
"GET UP! You'll miss your bus for school!" Liv, my sister spat in my ear as I struggled around, trying to heave myself up from my pit.
"Idiot..." I murmered under my breath, Liv always struts into my room, screaming in my ear for me to wake up, shes done it ever since we were little.
Aaah, monday morning, the worst days of the week. Not only was it the end to my boring, uneventful weekend, but dont you think mondays always drag? The long, tiring lessons of unimportant subjects like...French, all them boring old teachers who no one actually ever listens too, because all you here is blah. blah. blah.
Yep, mondays are the worst.
I slowly slid out of bed and clumsily got dressed. I really could not be bothered to do anything special with my hair, so i just brushed it and tied my long, chocolate brown hair back into a messy bun.
"Crap." I cursed under my breath, it was 8.00, I had five minutes before the bus came round the corner.
I grabbed my makeup bag and headed out to the hall, were I quickly dabbed on some foundation, and a touch of mascara.
"There," I smiled at myself in the mirror, i was presentable for school.
"Lola, have a nice day at school sweetie!" My mom's warm, loving voice flowed from the kitchen, she was probably up making toast or bacon for her husband.
"Thanks mom, you too!" I called back, smiling to nobody as I pushed open the large, wooden door, leading out to the front garden- just in time to see the big, chunky school bus driving straight past my house. crap.
"Yo Lola!" A familiar, annoying male voice called from the right hand side window of the bus, "Too bad girlfrieeeend!" Dylan laughed, winking at me, before he stuck his head inside the speeding bus.
Daaaymn! I couldnt walk to school! It was at least a thirty minute walk from here, and i was already late! Jeez, I hated that dude Dylan Westcott, he was such a douche. Unfortunately- dylan think that he is like, the ultimate sex god..basically, i think otherwise. Dylan is one of those annoying little dicks who believe that every girl who breaths is uncontrollably in love with him. Which isnt true, he's nothing special.
"Hhmmm," i sighed, sitting down on the curb with my hands under my chin, looking down at the floor, oh dear, looks like im just going to have to hitch hike.
As if on cue, a small, black volvo spun aroundthe corner, and quietly slowed down right infront of me.
"Hey there cutie," A deep, mascaline voice called out to me from the car. I looked up to see a cute, strong looking, tanned guy grinning down at me, flashing his pearly white teeth, which seriously nearly blinded me.
"Missed your bus?" He smirked.
"Haha," I nodded. Flicking back my chocolate brown ponytail.
"Uh huh." I pouted.
Im used to this kind of behaviour of guys. They take one look at me and pound on over flirting like hell, which...is sometime actually quite cringeable, and also is quite annoying at some time, but in a situation like this, it helps a lot.
"Aaaw," He made a sad face, whilst seriously checking me out.
"Need a lift then?" He winked, grinning widely.
