Chapter two
♠ The message ♠

It was early in the morning. The hot summer breeze flowing in the small island. Everyone eager to start early.

As the guard open the gate and walk at the school's hallway. An odd feeling creeps in to his spine,something was wrong, very wrong.

As he makes a U turn he saw at the corner of his eyes crimson red adorned the blackboard.

It was not paint like he thought it was, It was blood! With the words,

No one walks away from me.

The sun was shining through Vanna's window.

"Uh! What time is it?" Vanna grumbled as she look at the alarm clock at her nightstand

"7:46?!" She shouted as she throw the cover and run to the living room to grab a quick bite

"VINCENT?! WHY DID YOU NOT WAKE ME!!!???" Vanna question her twin brother.

Vincent was in the kitchen quietly drinking his cup of coffee while reading his Math textbook.

Then he heard a noise upstairs followed by the sound of his twin sister running .
"VINCENT?! WHY DID YOU NOT WAKE ME!!!???" She shouted

"Class suspended" He calmly said still reading his math textbook

"WHAT?! WHY?! And when and how did you know this?" Vanna ask clearly confused as to why the school suspended the classes

"The class is suspended. There was a murder last night. I found out after I woke up. Our adviser texted me" Vincent said showing no emotion in his face.

"Oh! So this mean he will be there?!" Vanna excitedly asked

"Who?" Vincent ask

"Ugh!" Vanna groaned "Detective Sam? The Best Junior Detective in 'Isla Pinagpala'?"

"Oh! You mean the---"

"We've talked about this" Vanna said in a threatening voice, but Vincent simply rolled his eyes

"Maybe it is murder and he is a detective " As Vincent finish his sentence Vanna's eyes brighten

"Got to go! I'll be back!" Vanna said and she grab her coat and run out the door

"Wait!"Vincent said but Vanna was already out of sight.

Vincent only sighed and continue drinking his coffee and reading the book in his hand
"She even forgot to change..."

As Vanna arrived her school she saw her ever so loyal best friend, Chloe.

"CHLOE!!!""VANNA!!!" They both shouted and run to embrace each other. While the other people around them just give them an odd look

"Chloe, have you heard?" Vanna asked her friend in a hushed tone

"Yes, and they say that the killer is one of our schoolmate! " Chloe exclaimed

"What?! No! I mean about Detective Sam..." Vanna said.

Earning an excited shout from her friend

"Hush,Chloe!Hush! CHLOE!!! " Vanna shouted and slap Chloe

Earning an 'Ow' from her

"Yeah I've heard. But he's still not here" Chloe informed Vanna

"Wait! When did you arrive here?" Vanna questioned

"After I receive the text from our adviser... " Chloe said while Vanna just give her a questioning look informing her to continue "...Third thing I did this morning..." Chloe said

"So what was the second thing you did this morning?" Vanna asked

"Um... Eat" Chloe said in a 'duh' tone

"Oh! Shit!" Vanna exclaimed

"What?!" Chloe asked in panic afraid something happened

"I forgot to eat!" Vanna said in panic and Chloe just give her a 'what the F---' look

As Vanna start panicking she felt a tap in her shoulder. And as she turn around she saw her twin brother with two paper bag

"Here, It's your breakfast and clothes" Vincent said

"What will I need the clothes for I'm pretty sure I'm wearing clo-" she look at her self and realized she was only wearing a coat and pajamas underneath it.

Vincent's face still show no emotion but his eyes clearly show the amusement of his sister's stupidity.
And Chloe just laughed earning a smack from Vanna.

"Help me look for a place so I can change already" Vanna said to Chloe while mentally cursing on how stupid she look.

"And I know what your thinking, Vincent. This is not funny! " Vanna said as she dragged Chloe with her.

Vincent just rolled his eyes and muttering a low 'whatever'

As Vanna was out of sight a white Lamborghini parked in front of the school. And a man at the age of 15 or so step out the car. He had a messy blonde hair with the most unique and bright light violet eyes, Vincent had ever seen. He was the most attractive man Vincent have ever laid eyes, but he'll never admit that.

He was not a man who believe in 'Love at first sight'.

For him love was just a fantasy man use as an excuse to be weak.

As he turns around and walk out he thought
'Love is just for weaklings'
