The threat

'Walter's POV

"Morning guys", Paige said as she stepped in to the garage with Drew trailing behind her.
"Walter, Drew needs to talk to you " Paige yelled from across the room, dragging me out of my reverie. I instantly froze.
"Boyfriend and baby daddy hitting it off"Toby whispered as I passed him.
Obviously that wasn't true. We weren't 'hitting it off' as he so called it. Drew was not efficient... in regards to the team. He was a distraction to Ralph and Paige.Plus, I wasn't Paige's boyfriend, we had already agreed to be friends, only... friends. As I approached Paige, I could see a satisfied expression cross her face as she took a sip of the coffee that I had infused with cinnamon, just for her. I don't know every time I did something I thought about ways that I could make it pleasing to her regardless of whether the rest of the team agreed.

Drew pulled me aside and immediately began whispering harshly.
"Look I don't know what' your problem is but you should be smart enough to understand this : Ralph is MY son, and Paige is my soon to be my girlfriend, so keep awa-"
" The odds of Paige getting back together with you are 3%"
"I don't want your freaking calculations and percentages. Just stay away from Paige", he whispered in response as he turned away from me and left.
To say I was shocked would be quite the understatement. I stood frozen reviewing the conversation in my mind. My emotions for Paige were only now properly developed and Drew had to come and ruin it. I feel so out of control in terms of my relationship with Paige. We've been sort of, kind of, maybe flirting. She frustrates me with all this talk of emotion however I would give my life for her.
Nobody in the garage liked Drew, not even Paige. She only let him around Drew because she foolishly believed that Ralph 'needed' his father.
I've got to let her know I 'feel' and I've got to do it fast. Who cares about being only friends. I love her and damn did it feel good to say that.
