Chapter 6: Secrets

Aphmau's Pov
Okay, I have to admit my father isn't really the shadow lord's son, my father is Thor. The Shadow Lord's son is just my uncle, I'm not only made with the blood of Irene, I also have Thor's blood. So yes I have a heavy hammer that only I can pick up, also known as mjolnir (I love SMC so I decided to add it💞). I used to live with "The Few" and Dad until Mom and I came to earth to be regular, dad respected our decision and I still talk to him often. With Thor as dad, yes that means Loki is my other uncle, I despise him passionately. That's my biggest secret, nobody knows except "The Few", my mom, my dad, my uncles, my best friends (Sky, Jin, Barney, Max, Ross) and myself.

I started the morning off with a warm shower, I chose lilac tank top, black jeans, black converse, and a hoodie that read "I'm not in the mood." Preferable these clothes because it was one of those days that I felt homesick. I did my winged eyeliner, smoky eyeshadow, nude magenta lipstick, and mascara before grabbing an orange juice and locking the house.

I spun around quickly to see Katelyn, "Hey Aph!" She said beaming at me, her long blue hair was in a high ponytail and her eyes sparkled with excitement. "Hey..." I said awkwardly, she read my shirt and nodded in understanding before walking off. I stood against the wall with a scowl on my face, people were staring at me, I didn't realize the issue until Aaron tapped on my shoulder. "Um, Aphmau. You have a really weird glow coming from the inside of your hoodie sleeve." He whispered. Oh crap, this meant trouble, I told "The Few" never to make my birthmark glow unless there was real danger. I pulled my transceiver from my pocket and walked to a corner and used one of my spare invisibility cloaks. "This is Jess, what's the issue?" I said quietly in to the microphone. A soft voice came from the other side, "Jess, good! Well not good. Your crazy uncle is after you, he kind of sort of knows where you are. We had to warn you." Kala said. I growled, not Loki, ughhhhh! "Got it, thanks Kala, speak to you later." I whispered before shutting off the transceiver.

When I reappeared the bus was honking and waiting for me, "What took you so long Aph?" Katelyn asked when I hopped on. "OH nothing!" I said rather quickly before sitting down next to out friend Kiki. I didn't listen to anyone the whole ride, I could risk people knowing my secret identity and defeat my uncle at school or I could risk their safety and draw him away. The second plan would be alot more complicated so I went with plan A, I really hope I won't have to put it in action though. I don't think I'm ready to tell the world who the real, Aphmau Jessica Odinson is.
