Hello! Hope you are enjoying the story, and thanks for reading! I have included a video attachment of the piece that Mitch plays if you would like to listen to it while you read. It is truly a grand piece, and the pianist who performs it captures the piece so nicely!

I wake in Scott's bed smiling and refreshed. I look down what Scott calls a "onesie" on me that he insisted I would look adorable in. After refusing many times I finally decided to give it a try. Scott had said it was of the "Rilakkuma" bear and it is brown and very comfortable. I decided to change into it last night and I find it very amusing and endearing. I have never had any sort of bear like this as a toy when I was younger, mother never made me one. She said a real man didn't need comfort.

I slowly rise up, yawn and stretch my arms before attempting to get out of bed. I quickly grab a sip of water from the nightstand and rise up, bringing it with me into the living room. I walk across the floor slowly, careful not to spill the water. Scott notices me from the kitchen and smiles.

"You okay?"

"Yes. I have never slept that well in my entire life," I say, reaching the kitchen. His bed is so vast and comfortable, it feels like a big cloud. I set my water down and lean on the counter, mimicking Scott.

"You look so cute in that."

"I knew you would say that."

"Do you want to go out for breakfast? I know a place."

"Sounds great," I say, smiling at him. "I can wear my new clothes. I have many to choose from."

"Oh not nearly enough. We'll get some more today. This morning my best friend Kirstie is coming over, I'll just invite her for breakfast as well. That sound good?"

"Oh yes. I would love to meet her. Kirstie...is that her real name?"

"Oh, no, it's just a nickname. Her name is Kirstin Maldonado."

"And your last name is Hoying?"

"And yours is Grassi. Sure you're okay? Need some coffee?"

"I suppose so. I have never had any," I say. Scott stares at me, mouth wide open.

"Never? What?" Scott says, surprised.

"No-"

"Well that's the first thing you'll have today then, I'll make sure of it."

"Scott?"

"Yes?"

"Why are you doing all of this for me?"

"Because. You deserve it. And because we're friends. I care about you. You are smart, funny, optimistic, and full of secrets that I want to discover. I think that's good enough of a reason."

"You trust me?"

"Not fully, but pretty well considering you haven't stolen anything," Scott says, picking up his 'phone'.

Suddenly, there is a ring at the door and I jump at this, which receives a sweet laugh from my blonde friend as he heads to open it. I look over at the sound of shrieking and see Kirstie in Scott's arms as he carries her in the door, swinging the door shut behind him.

"How are you? How long has it been? I'm going to cry-" Kirstie begins.

"Soooooo long! I'm so glad you're here!" Scott replies.

"Me too!" Kirstie says. She looks very familiar to me, with her blonde hair and dark brown eyes, her smile and her red lips. I remember her from my choosing ceremony, before I came to this place with Scott! We danced and she spun me around a few times. She is wearing a black shirt and a grey skirt with thick black heels with straps around the sides. Her eyes meet my glance and she smiles at me. I remember to smile as well.
