"Oh really," the Evil Queen said and waved her hand. "Let me take these words right out of your mouth."
And then the bad dialogue stopped.
To remember: If there is a "she said" or "character x said", the dialogue should end with a comma, and the next work after the dialogue (i.e. the "she" or character name), should not be capitalised. If the dialogue continues after the "so-and-so said/shouted/insert-swifty-of-your-choice" with a comma, the next bit of dialogue shouldn't be capitalised either.
Of course, if there's a full stop, the next word has to start with a Capital Letter.
I can't believe it took me so long to learn this.
