Stiles:
You're dead
it's my fault.
We defeated the nogitsune
we are all safe now,
Except for you.
I'm sorry, Alli.*✭˚・゚✧*・゚*✭˚・゚✧*・゚*
"Well this doesn't seem so bad." Stiles huffed, sliding his phone back into his pocket after taking in his surroundings. He knew texting Allison would not help him get over what happened to her, but he couldn't just keep living life like she didn't exist.
They were in Mexico, he never once thought he would ever leave his own town, not after Allison's death, let alone come to a different country. But, the pack did what they had to do, even if it meant Scott dragging Stiles out of bed and making him eat for the first time in days, like he had done on multiple occasions the months prior. They looked out for each other, they all did.
"It's not the town, it's the plan." Lydia squinted her eyes, knowing the plan they had in store would most likely fail, like over half of the plans they came up with. But they both knew that they couldn't afford another failure. Last time, it costed Allison her life.
The two continued to bicker back and forth as they were walking to their destination, there was a harshness in Stiles voice that Lydia hadn't heard until recently. He seemed cold, emotionless maybe, but she knew that was just a front. Whether this was the long term effect of the nogitsune or because of Allison, she couldn't be sure, but she wanted to find out.
Lydia stopped dead in her tracks and turned to face the brown haired boy.
"Listen, I get it." she paused, almost not knowing where to continue, this gave Stiles time to sigh, loud enough for her to hear that he was already annoyed with her stopping their walk, as he knew where this conversation was going. All of them were still shocked about Alli's death, but it was different for Stiles. He let it continue to affect him every single day, and it was starting to put a toll on his relationships with the people still alive and breathing.
Lydia continued, "You don't want to believe she's gone, I get it. Hell, if we could go back in time and save her, don't you think we would? But Stiles, she's dead. It's time to start moving on."
Stiles immediately interrupted her, "I'm not talking about this now." he frantically ran his hand through his hair, trying to hold back every single emotion that was close to spilling out of him. Lydia recognized this and gently put her hands in his. Bringing them up to her chest.
"Stiles." She cooed, not wanting to upset the boy in any way possible, that was the last thing he needed right now, even if he was expressing more anger than sadness towards her.
