Voldemort sat in his study, smirking to himself as he finished hooking up a machine. Apparently Lucius Malfoy had discovered a fascinating new way of communicating and it had to do with some Muggle device called the Internet. You could look up anything you ever wanted to know and in seconds, find what you were looking for! As much as he hated to admit it, it was very ingenious. No more searching through books or use a spell to find a certain subject. Most of his anti-Muggle Death Eaters would think it sinful to even think of using it but it was a worthy cause.

He quickly sat down and pushed a button on the back Lucius had told him turned it on. It came alive and different things flashed across the screen and made several loud noises. Voldemort looked around the room, startled by the strange device. Then the home screen he had seen from Lucius' mind came up and Voldemort grasped the pointing device connected to the Internet and clicked the image Lucius told him to. A strange white box with moving pictures inside the screen appeared. Voldemort began to get excited and clicked the search bar.

He typed in the website Lucius had informed him of. It was something called Facebook. He found what he was looking for and began seeing how you could create this... page and add friends, or followers his mind supplied. You could contact them through this web-site and talk to everyone without being face to face! It was quite fascinating. He would have to get his Death Eaters to look into this. Voldemort pulled out his bone-like wand and cast a Tempus, seeing that it was now 7:30pm. He had 30 minutes until his next meeting with Snape. His curiosity got the better of him and he began to search randomly to see what the Internet had on him. He typed in 'Lord Voldemort' and found a few things here and there where he was mentioned but nothing major. Then he had an idea. There was something he wanted to know though. He typed in 'Harry Potter' after his name and hit search. Who knows? Perhaps he would find the prophecy between the two of them. Several things popped up on the screen and Voldemort clicked on the first one titled 'wizardfiction.net'. What he saw disgusted him completely.

People, no- not people, wizards and witches actually paired him, the Dark Lord, with others?! Not only others but mostly from the look of this page, with Harry Potter of all people! This was just... disgusting! People actually took time out of their lives to write about this? Don't they have a life? This is just abominable bunch of nonsense. They obviously don't know who they're messing with; they are walking on a slender thread. These reformed facts are just ridiculous. Voldemort sat there at the Internet, staring at it with obvious distaste. But... now that he thought about it, they were quite similar and matched each other according to the prophecy. As he thought on it, the floodgate of emotions slipped through and he was engulfed in a fiery pit of feelings and emotions towards the boy. He began to want to go after the boy and allow the boy to have justice for the death of his parents and regain vengeance. He could just feel the flames of lust and desire coming off him in waves. He...no, no what was he thinking? This was idiotic; he shouldn't be feeling emotions; he is the mighty Dark Lord Voldemort. He doesn't feel emotions. That's too human and he is anything but human. He wanted to have people worship him and think of him as frightening, wicked and immortal, not human.

Voldemort quickly grabbed his wand and destroyed the Internet, completely tired of the provoking it caused him. He breathed a sigh of relief, feeling much better at having expressed his anger towards it. He vanished the ashes of it and walked out the door to attend his meeting. One thing was certain in Voldemort's mind though. Lucius was most definitely getting a Crucio tonight and perhaps every night until Voldemort forgot about the discovery of the Internet.
